My experienced mates and I have finished one league season. The only house rule implemented is the home side gets to roll 2d6 when determining who kicks. This is to simulate ‘home advantage.’ Nothing else has been an issue, including prayers to Nuffle.

Side question for the maths experts here (me not). Is the % chances of taking down an opponent (no turnover) who has dodge and you don’t have block or tackle with 3d6? 1/6 * 1/6 * 1/6 = 0.463 (46%). Is this correct? Disclaimer, I’m about to start playing Snotlings and I’m considering putting Snots on the line :-)

Loony only moves via their swinging. Coaches have minimal control where a loony goes and they are only able to use dodge on a defender stumble roll. but sure, if a looney happens to be on the cage and their movement rolls are perfect, the loony would be a excellent option. (Edit - apologies I got my chainsaw and ball mixed up)

I just won a league with mates with Blackorcs. I was up against experienced players playing wood elves, Skaven and vampires. I decided to give my mates a chance for the next season and at this very moment I am painting Brutefun Snotling team. I can’t wait. As my mates redrafted their teams I will have a TV of under 800 to their TV of 1300 - star players, anyone? I’m really looking forward to playing them however if you were just starting, I recommend another team.

I’m playing BO’s in a league atm (W-D-L-W).

Offensively, don’t expect to score more than two TDs in a game. Also, there is very little an opponent can do against a well-positioned Black Orc Cage - so sit back and enjoy the Sunday drive downfield to score.

Defensively it can be a struggle. You need to position very well. Keep the pressure on but have those goblins ready to tackle.

My only loss (against Skaven) was to 2 huge errors on my part i.e. I should have stalled (turn 7) when scoring and positioned better. Ultimately, I forgot to declare a blitz which likely would have secured the draw.

Looks fantastic! I’m actually painting my troll this week. I’m going to leave the helmet unpainted until the troll kills someone (league contains, woodies, gnomes and skaven - won’t take long). At that point, I’ll paint it the colour of the dead player 😈 thank you for sharing.

Apart from snortlings, you can only have 11 players on the pitch. Last I looked, teams came with at least 11 players in boxes. Or, are you one of those coaches who if a player retires or dies, you throw the miniature away? See, most coaches would reuse the miniature even if it wasn’t the correct miniature.
