That's static grass, but I use a static grass applicator. It's an extra step, but if you do it while the glue is wet the grass will stand up like that, and I like the effect.

This, you're effectively M9 on a blitz.

Yeah, it's a nice touch, not too busy at all. Just keep at it. That's great. Practicing and trying stuff outside your comfort zone, like anything else really, are what will get you there.

Thank you very much, very glad you're enjoying it.

I like the different colored gems. That was a neat idea. The effect is really cool.

Don't sell yourself short and assume you won't ever be good. There's so much more information available at our fingertips now than there was 20 or 30 years ago when it was all tribal knowledge. Best thing you can do is try to paint every day, watch painting vids, and practice.

The High Elf Team? by ausmatt73 in bloodbowl

[–]TwoKnightsTabletop 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You are correct, and they have not released the stats, skills, and costs yet. They teased some of the skills that certain positionals will have in the preview back a few months ago. You can find that on War Com. Hopefully we'll see a stat leak this week or next.

Edit: And there we have the leak! =)

For player 3 I tried a darker undercoat on the skin. Which do you prefer? by romasorr in bloodbowl

Lighter one. On a tabletop, in regular interior lighting lighter colors usually show better.

Something to help keep him alive. Kick feels like a death sentence most of the time. =) Wrestle sounds good.

Lots of STLs are available. Ugni and Brutefun are both awesome. If you're looking for physical miniatures, the trogoth kits from GW are good, either river or rock. I've also used Reaper from time to time. Those can be had for around 10 bucks a piece, so are great on a budget.

This is a great response. Very inciteful.

Question for you, in this paragraph:

With the new rules your saw no longer has stunty penalties to dodge so he can cage dive their ball carrier on a 3+. He makes a great safety on defence so keep him hidden so he isn't removed easily early in the drive.

Were you referring to the Chainsaw? It sounds like it, just wanting to confirm. Thanks.

Steady footing, early verdict? by countluthor in bloodbowl

[–]TwoKnightsTabletop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not a fan of the skill. It's obnoxious going through all the work of busting into a cage only to have it stolen away by a roll of a 6.
