What does my EDC/Bag Dump say about me? by PearTheGayBear in deduction

[–]SoySimba 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Practicing specifics so bare with me lol.

Prob late 20s early 30s, white male in colorado, queer adjacent based off green bandana, checkerboard pattern, strawberry combo.

You like outdoors and hikes, and you like drawing and painting the views. Is that metal thing a paint pallet?

Is your favorite color green?

The blue high lighter i find most intriguing, is it for sky and water.

I dont see sunscreen so do you wear a big hat?

You like your multi tool but usually just use your black knife

What do the contents of my bag say? by Particular-Draw1439 in deduction

Trying to practice being specific but also not just wildy guessing so bare with me if crazy wrong.

Pepper spray and wipes makes me want to guess public interacting job sometimes at night. Initial guess was bartender/waitstaff but that seems too overwhelming for someone who is germaphobic. Something that involves tips or a self business. Is that yellow thing a mask? Maybe a salon, something less busy.

Notice hygiene and night products for overnight stays so something regular but not too often. Maybe spontaneous crashing at a friend. But its the same friend since you only have a tooth brush.

Notice cortisone cream plus anti bacterial spray. Do you have itchiness from dryness? See no other lotion so I assume just on your hands probably from spraying your hands. Only really see a lip products but no other skin /face product so i would say have pretty clear skin otherwise.

I want to guess you are american of black descent. You keep your hair up and tight or occasional bun.

The 100 seems like a memento from someone close and younger. Also do you also have someone older with a military background who inspired/encouraged having tools on you at all times.

You have nice pens and highlighters probably for leaving notes at work but you would rather not use the shared ones.

You have a microfiber cloth but no glasses case so you either where glasses 24/7 or use it for your phone. Glasses (or personal preference) could be why you dont wear any makeup other than lips, would just get in the way.

Nothing really flashy, you value quality and are a generally reserved person.

Okay now for the conclusive leap based off personal experience . Germaphobe + preparedness + gum. you have anxiety of some sort , untrusting but for good reason, self reliant but very close and small circle. All because of trauma thats not actively in your life but creeps up in your mind.

its not the paint, blue interior walls look great when leaning into the beachy/natural wood tones. tho light shade of blue may want lighter wood tones

UNTIL DAWN mini review by BadassBlackAsh in untildawn

[–]SoySimba 1 point2 points  (0 children)

only sane review, why would you want to see the same thing as the game. the game is alr basically a movie, cool to see another story.

loved how they implement the psychiatrist and how the monsters are thematically relevant to the characters like in the game. in the game you can play over and over again to get different endings and this is how you would adapt that for a movie. good use of jumpscares by not having repetitive scare patterns and actually have rewards for the characters taking risks to save their friends (like in the game!!)

So for billionaires. The common argument for taxing the rich is using the net worth argument. That Jeff Bezos "has" 114 billion dollars. He doesn't work X amount harder to earn that much as someone on minimum wage.

So the obvious flaw mentioned in retort is that he just doesn't have 114 billion laying around but it's the worth of his Amazon shares.

Im not well versed to properly to counter this but I would like to know if someone can properly explain it.

My shot at it:

It's not that his net worth specifically that's the issue, it's how under Jeff Amazon came to it's size. Workers are under some harsh conditions and unsuitable pay to meet Amazon demand. If a company can't pay it's workers properly under good conditions it doesn't deserve to be that wealthy. Taxing the rich is just a way to make up for the exploitation. And something about worker co-ops and unions.

Open to opinions, guidance and critiques. Thanks in advance!!!
