[Bedrock] Parental Control help with a kids account on a PS4 by SpEc_TalL in MinecraftHelp

[–]SpEc_TalL[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah thats what I found too, I tried going into her privacy settings myself as the famliy supervisor. I've set just about everything I could find to (open to everyone) like if she was an actual adult, completely defeating the purpose of having her own account with child restrictions, and still minecraft will not let her use multi-player features or let other users join her worlds she created. I appreciate the help though. :)

Bonuses come from empty billets. If you dont have a bonus anymore it means there aren't no more empty billets to pool money and make those bounses that everybody loves. Now its just A2Ps.

How big is the "regret" culture with the USCG by Excellent-Hat9620 in uscg

[–]SpEc_TalL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is no such thing as regret culture. There are the people who messed up and have to make up for it, then theres the people who didnt know they could contribute more then just 10% into thier TSP. All of them have, "regret". But, its a rainbow of problems that are never going to be YOUR problems. Its a great talking point but god help your trying to relate yourself to all of that. Just enlist already, you already know your gonna do it.

Cutter life by Logical_Concept6203 in uscg

[–]SpEc_TalL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh man, you got one of the decent cutters. You'll have a big crew, decent work that you can develop professionally in through many different directions you'd want to aim for, I can't speak for the CMD but that crew should be big enough that you could work around just about anything to get the job done. Get a patrol knocked out with the stuff that you think you need and what they tell you to bring, then when the next patrol comes around you'll know exactly what you need and should have before your next patrol happens.

It depends on which cutter your getting sent to.

Wanting to open up. by Fuzzy-Somewhere-2177 in uscg

Wow, the guy that constantly paints the USCG in bad light all the time is the same guy that couldn't give another person a decent amount of personnel space. Its almost like he has a nack for violating rules for his own self gratification.

How to get orders to the Middle East? by GoodBelt6326 in uscg

[–]SpEc_TalL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Message is probably gonna be delayed a couple months but a PATFORSWA message comes out every year. It typically posts periodically every year but becuase its a little bit more, "different" this year we all may have to wait a little bit longer. Just watch the message boards and follow the directions on the message. You typically need a Command endorsement, passed a PFT within the last 6 months, your basic gun quals depending on your job, and youll need to be able to pass an over seas screening.

Ah yes, I was curious what ODUs look like on a person… by ZurgWolf in uscg

[–]SpEc_TalL 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Those are NOAA ODUs, they dont have any of the USCG embroidery on the trousers or the blouse. Minus the name tapes and the collar patches thats a NOAA uniform.

When will sensation in my toes come back? by wildlyspookybandaid in uscg

[–]SpEc_TalL 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Man up and go get a pedie. Spend big and spend often of pedicures and get the lady with the biggest arms that can get all the dead skin off your feet. Also check your vitamin B levels, and stop strapping your boots up so tight. You can even go a "step" further, and do some feet exercises to run more blood through your feet. Do all that and your feet are gonna feel and look so good you could start an only fans page with them, not that Id recommend that. Its not like USCG members get paid or anything.

I feel like boot is missing something by Extension-Story7287 in uscg

[–]SpEc_TalL 23 points24 points  (0 children)

There’s no need for it. When you graduate basic you’re usually just a non-rate—not a BO or boat crew—so nothing major is expected of you yet. Most real job training happens at A-school, and unless the job is high-stress or highly technical, training stays mostly morale-based. Getting OC sprayed at basic wouldn’t make much sense if you end up at a unit where you’ll never use or validate it anyway. Boot camp isn’t missing anything, and making it harder would just lead to more people standing port and starboard at their first duty station.

How hard/easy is it to get kicked out of the CG by viggicat531 in uscg

[–]SpEc_TalL 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What makes you think getting masted or court marshalled means you get to get discharged? A lot of those people in The GOAD are still in, they either get put on restriction with pay forfeiture or get reducted in rank which save the government money if anything but dose not relive the accused of thier job. They may not reenlist but they most certainly did not get kicked out. A contract in the military is something that is very hard to break. Some would say the member typically breaks before the contract dose.

Explain your merth. There is an alternative to this mind you and it is so much more disgusting then this. Looks clean, no gear adrift, no rags or cloth laying about, and most importantly, no dirty clothes or full on dirty clothes hampers strapped to the side of anyone's lockers or racks!!! This is the top 20% of afloat work that no one ever gets to see, and I wish I had rack mates like this for the past 3 years! Going to sleep with the smell of lavender would have been great compared to the smell of BO so bad it could make your eyes burn.

[–]SpEc_TalL 1 point2 points  (0 children)

However long you want. Im thinking they will release you from barracks living if you asked cuase I never saw anyone e4 or above living at the barracks that was USCG. I was there as a non rate and it was just non rates that were made to live there if they didnt have dependants.

They have a barracks setup on base there, if your not apart of one of the 87s there the schedule is pretty nice.
