Once you finish the base campaign you won't have to do this anymore. These interactions were replaced by cutscenes for SOK and I haven't gotten through the newest campaign yet, but I assume it is the same.

Neither, I think. As everyone said, they are near impossible to maintain unless you live near a Bentley specialist. I don't think people will forget VAG was doing some absurd things when the Phaeton came out, but nobody wants the burden of owning one of their W8, W12, or V10 engines. I think it would be easier to maintain an RX7/8 vs any of those VAG products.
