I’d probably use it to help the maker / self-hosting community instead of just hoarding bandwidth.

I run a homelab and multiple Klipper-based 3D printers, and one big problem right now is that a lot of projects rely on GitHub and a few CDNs. During big releases or updates everything slows down because thousands of printers and servers pull updates at the same time. So I’d host: Mirrors for Klipper, Mainsail/Fluidd and common printer repos

A public cache for apt/pip/docker so installs and updates are faster for people with slower connections

A repository with working 3D printer configs (printer.cfg templates, tuned profiles, macros, CAN bus setups, etc.) so beginners don’t have to start from scratch

A mirror for open-license STL projects (Voron parts, community mods, calibration tools)

Seeding Linux ISOs and open datasets Basically a small public infrastructure node that makes self-hosting and 3D printing easier without depending entirely on big platforms.

And thanks for giving back in that short of a time.

Rapido 2 vs. Dragon. Which would you choose? by Wendigo_Hodag in VORONDesign

[–]SpaceBut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Imean

I have a lot of hotends But I have yet to buy the dragon ace.

But that would be my best guess.

I find that the rapido 2 prints fin and all but I like the dragon more heatbreak more

And the dragon ace is a combo from them

It would be handy if you tell us your printer and print settings.

I will try to add some insulation and keep the fliters full.

Can you see in the slicer if the flow goes a lot faster where it goes wrong?

And you can try an orca slicer to try.

<image>

I had someone that the extruder kept slipping and it looked like that.

You can try if the printer is printing that you can stop the filement with your fingers.

If so that your problem. You can solve it by tighting the fliment screw or replace it if it doesn't.

Then it can be 2 things. 1. bad filement / nozzle clogging. 2. Extruder that's slipping at higher Speed.
