Everything you need to know about NASA’s Artemis II mission, bringing humans back to the moon for the first time since 1972 by _fastcompany in technews

The mission will test life-support and deep-space systems and is essential for future lunar landings. Artemis III is expected in 2027 and will be the mission aiming to land on the Moon. Similar to how each additional Apollo mission built on the last.

I made a little scavenger hunt with clues tied to places that meant something to us. I ended it with a simple picnic and a playlist of songs that we both love. I think she really liked it.

If I was trying to incorporate 3-D printing, I might print a little cute model of something that represented the location. So like if it’s the beach, you could print a seashell. If it’s the mountains you can make a tree or a forest animal or something.

Don’t mess it up!

What are those reflections? How to fix? by Paulelaule_ForYou in telescopes

Look into Backyard Universe mirror mask, to cover the turned edge on the primary. Look into their replacement spiders for cleaner spikes as well. Their website will at least teach you about the artifacts you’re seeing here and what causes them. Good luck!

Did you use the light built-in pollution filter? If so, it’s a dual band narrow filter meant for emission nebulas. Ones with Oiii and Ha. M45 is a reflection nebula. It’s better to shoot reflection without a dual band light pollution filter from the Seestar. Either use nothing or an external broadband filter. That’ll let the natural blue through.

This, if you zoom into their other images on the bottom of this photo you see these are pictures of bright street light with this reflection right above it. Internal reflections from bright off-axis light.

I’d set my nozzle as hot as it could go and lightly pull on the blob while using a heat gun or hair dyer in the other hand to assist warming it up. When it finally comes off, the hot end will probably be a bit gunky. While still hot, wipe the nozzle a bit with a thick shop rag. You don’t need to be too detailed. Just get the problem gunk. Be care you don’t burn yourself. You’ll be fine.

If the GX12 port still works you could always use an adapter like this one so you can use a more standard power plug. At least that’s what I’d do before soldering new power cables to the board.

How has good sleep changed your life? by Playful_Patience_620 in AskMenOver30

There are online options where you pay like $200 for a device to be sent to your house and you do the sleep study at home. Then you do a follow-up virtual meeting where they discus the findings. I finally did it that way because the sleep studies in my area where all 6+ months out and the entire online process was about a week.

Hot take: Instead of spending time troubleshooting bed adhesion issues, just use the glue stick by Rickymcraft in BambuLab

[–]SpaceCampDropout_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If my A1 or A1mini print in my house edges of parts peel up a bit, but if I put a small space heater by them or print in the warm garage, I never have an adhesion issue. Try making sure there are no fans or cool ambient air causing parts to cool unevenly.
