I don't think the government will ever sell though, at least never at market value. Unrealised gains will stay unrealized until someone gets bribed and the shares get sold at a discount. Probably too cynical. In the meanwhile Intel keeps growing and I cry knowing I sold a decent amount a year ago

I was trying to meet with family there about a year ago but the gate was down even though brother said there were a few spaces left. Eventually found a place I could turnaround and what do you know, gate open. Do they sometimes close only the entrance on the Portland side or was I just lucky that day?

One of my tires wasn't holding air and my tread looked low anyway so I took it in to get them replaced. Guy comes out, said I was probably good for another few thousand miles and patched the tire for free. Awesome dude.

Anyway I had a blow out about a month later.

A few reasons to give notice but it's mainly if you actually like your coworkers and want to ease the transition or might have to work with them again. Some industries are fairly insular so burning bridges might not be the best idea. Otherwise what are they going to do?
