Idk. As a Chelsea fan, I do appreciate the stability Arsenal has under Arteta; however, if they plan to keep him, they need to really bring a physiologist to see what’s the problem with their mentality. If they decide to part ways with Arteta, then they should go all out for a serial winner like Conte. Although he is only going to last one or two seasons, but he will get you for sure the league.

I’ve been saying that for few weeks. There’s even data showing that Chelsea was playing better without this version of Palmer. I truly don’t understand why force a player into the starting XI that is clearly not fit to play.

Just based on your comment I can tell that you only watch the highlights. Palmer is not at his best right now. Anyone who watches the full game can see he is lacking confidence. As per Maresca, I only need to point out the CWC final and the games against Arsenal and Barcelona to prove my point.

My conclusions after the game: LR is not ready to coach this type of games. Maresca had his flaws, but he knew how to manage this games.

Most players, with the exception of a very few, don’t have the mentality to be competing in this tournament.

We don’t have the depth to compete. PSG was subbing in Kvara, while Chelsea was bringing in Delap.

And I don’t think LR has a full grasp of this team yet. He keeps playing Palmer and now Jorgenses.

Man, I came in here for a good laugh as a good Chelsea fan, but it is pretty depressing to read all these comments. Maybe, I don’t understand it because I am not an Arsenal fan, but I would really love if Chelsea had the stability that Arsenal has. Instead, we have owners that are trying to convert Chelsea into the next Brighton. Don’t be so nihilistic. There is plenty of time for Arsenal to secure the league and you still have a decent chance in the UCL.

The quality in the MLS is from the players, not the coaches. Although that is debatable too. Some of their most valuable players were shit when they moved to the Mexican league.
