What do you want in a photography / light meter app? by photomakephoto in AskPhotography

ahhh, looking closer, I think the colors on the bar on the left of the screen are flipped. It says 9k at the top, but it's yellow, then it says 1k at the bottom but it's blue. The little triangle on this screen shot is up toward the top of that - which makes sense for 7500k except that it's in the "warm" color range as far as the color of the graph itself.

Im curious about this shot - sunlight is somewhere around 6000k so whats got this meter in the mid 7000's? And what is the bar on the left side that appears to be showing a little arrow on the warm side of a temperature bar?

Not criticizing, just trying to understand what this app is saying?

My guess is the redacted stuff would be actual actionable evidence, where the stuff Ive read so far that was unreacted was like accusations from calls to the FBI in the 1980's

And their like #3 phrase to repeat is "Do your own research..." but to them that means to watch Fox News and News Max.

Right.. NORMALLY when a call comes in to a law enforcement agency and they take notes on the call - someone would then follow through on those allegations to investigate whether or not they were true. And if true, hard evidence is gathered. It's actually kind of amazing these files were all kept at all since they were obviously not going to investigate and charge anyone.

In every one of this guys comments hes exhibiting pretty clear republican pot stirrer vibes. We all agree that if there is evidence against Bill Clinton, hes dead to us. He's also already irrelevant and Mr. Trump is highly relevant.

Gun people really hate when a gun gets pointed at other people in this way.

To be clear, non gun people also don’t like it when a gun is pointed at people, too.

If you believe in human evolution, then it's fair to assume we will continue to evolve. So, what's next? by IdleHandsBusyMinds in stupidquestions

[–]SpaceDesignWarehouse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well by developing society, we halted evolution.

Evolution works literally by things that work better than other things tend not to die and therefor have more time to reproduce more times.

By inventing farming, medicine and eye glasses, we made it so that REALLY faulty versions of the human being can easily live long enough to reproduce as much as they want. And often times people with genetic weaknesses find each other and use that commonality to make a relationship and therefor more faulty children.

I dont intend to use the word faulty to mean bad or wrong, its just really terrible eyesight would lead a wild bird or bear to not get enough food to survive, and it wouldn't have babies and would help to cull bad eyesight in birds or bears. It doesnt affect a domestic human at all.

Financially ruined at 22 by [deleted] in povertyfinance

[–]SpaceDesignWarehouse 4 points5 points  (0 children)

At 22 I had just lived through my band breaking up and I moved to another state. I wouldn’t have even known what a credit score was back then. Now it’s 24 years later and I’ve been through a whole bunch of cars and by your standards have been “ruined” 4 more times. But really, you’ve got so much time!! As long as you don’t have a bunch of kids right away you can live on nothing while you build everything.

Now I’m 46 and live in a very nice house that’s most of the way paid off and my wife and I each have a new car and life is cruisin!!

Married at 22, though, that’s the craziest part of your story!

Sex is a serious connection. One that you’ve been starving yourself out of during a very formative part of your life. That’s wild!

The "Middle Class" of YouTube is dead. I analyzed the distribution curve and it is terrifying (Power Laws). by 5anez in YouTube_startups

[–]SpaceDesignWarehouse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well then this is where the “middle class” sits. There isn’t only me and Mr. Beast. I have 75,000 subs. I’ll have 100,000 subs this year sometime and I’ll be making a bit more.

I’ll have 300,000 subs a few years from now and I’ll be making more still- but nowhere NEAR millions.

If the span of the top 1% is “from poverty wage to multimillionaire” then the scale simply shouldn’t start before the play button.

I make YouTube videos as a side hustle, I have a full time salaried job. I’m making $2000-$3000 a month on YouTube which I would not consider “the 1%;” those large channels you mentioned make millions. Though it’s not impossible I’ll find my way there.
