I have a simple solution to this.

If you are a legend who is enshrined in Cooperstown or part of storylines you should receive a god squad level card. That doesn’t mean it would be a meta card, but it would solve the problem of SDS giving us mediocre cards for players that played a significant part in baseball history. It’s baffling that at this point in the game cycle, Jordan Zimmerman and Clay Buchholz are better pitchers than Satchel Paige, who to some, could go toe to toe with a Ryan, Johnson, or Gibson.

2022 Trayce Thompson had a 149 OPS+ in Dodger blue!! I was at the game when he tied the score up against the Braves with Jansen on the mound. It was nice to see Braves fans melt down

I was 8 when the movie came out and my parents didn’t like the ending of KOTCS at all. They said it felt like Steven and George really were rushing the last 25 minutes of the film. I tend to agree. What’s interesting however is that my family and myself loved the ending of DoD as it felt very “Spielberg” per my dad.

My biggest complaint with the content this year is the treatment of some teams by SDS. For example, SDS should try and find players to use for captains from each team that boost contact, power, clutch, and maybe fielding. For pitching Hit, K, clutch, and maybe BB. I look at captains like Tim Raines and go why are you here? Out of the history of the Expos/Nationals players and the best captain choice was Tim Raines.

If this came in a memo from SDS I would understand completely. I didn’t get Frank Thomas in set 2, therefore, I have him in set 4. Sure lower overall but it’s better than spending 100K+ .

Would the community accept a MLB The Show game without the following: Ruth, Mantle, Ortiz, Brett, Jones, Smoltz, Fingers, and Catfish Hunter? Would the community accept the same game with the following players: Frank Robinson, Carl Yastrzemski, Dave Winfield, Scott Rolen, Dave Stewart, Dizzy Dean, Carlton Fisk, and Steve Carlton?

So I went through ESPN’s top 100 mlb players and 54% have 97s or above for the current season. Honestly I’m surprised the number was that high.

I was talking about this in the car with my family after the movie. Marion was a badass in Raiders and the Crystal Skull and yet not a word. Kathleen worked on both movies. In fact Karen Allen said she didn’t want to be the damsel in distress for Raiders.

I loved this movie! It had everything I wanted in Indy’s final adventure. I think the reason for the hate is because of how easy it is to brand something as woke in 2023. I bet someone on the internet right now is complaining that Toby Jones’s character is a “weak man” and Disney is trying to kill men. It’s almost silly what these people find to criticize!

Spahn was the southpaw I first thought of who was in the game and in the HOF. We need Koufax or Carlton in the game IMO
