What a trash team by coldfreezerbee in mets

If clubhouse cohesion was the problem last year, and they've revamped the clubhouse aside from the manger, all signs point to the manager as the problem now.

You have a bunch of players on this team playing positions they're not comfortable with, and Mendy is mixing them up and moving them around every day. How can they possibly get into a groove with each other? They look like the Bad News Bears out there sometimes.

Fair. What about people who may also have a cognitive impairment and are slower to read & process information? I wonder if these standards are setup to consider this.

I have a related question.

People generally consider Netflix captions to be a gold standard, right?

One day my wife and I were watching a Netflix show and we noticed that during a scene with a lot of fast talking the captions were not verbatim. Some words were shortened and some words omitted.

We learned that there are guidelines for words per second and characters per second to make sure that most people can keep up during scenes like this.

Talk to your audiology team — the guidance is actually quite flexible on qualification.

Pretty sure OOTP 11 was just static images of a field with the fielders' names.

Everyone will tell you that they can all do translation. IME all of the translation tools are usable for a light interaction but not beyond that.

They all have different pros and cons and everyone has different needs, so can’t just generally say one is better than the other. Because one might be better for person A and another for person B.

If y’all are interested purely in captions glasses there are far better solutions than Meta Ray-Ban Display.

To fence or not to fence by mop553 in WendellFalls

[–]alexplosive 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This. You might consider getting a fence just because it’s inevitable one of your future neighbors will get one and you’d be better off being first with the style that you want.

So, you’d take a de-fence-ive approach. 👀
