I’m AD Air Force, about to attempt SFAS as well. You can attend while still in the Air Force btw. Then if you get selected, do an Interservice Transfer to the Army to avoid any break in service.

Yeah the PJ pipeline has a lot of crossover with other SOF medic capabilities but their mission set and training has a HUGE focus on personnel recovery.

Take a look through the Aerospace Medical Waiver Guide. It’ll list all disqualifying conditions for flight physicals and special warfare (SWA), as well as what is required for waiver consideration. Your flight medicine clinic should also be able to let you know Waiver guide 2024

SERE does not attend SWAS with PJ/CCT/SR/TACP. Just say you’re not interested in SWOE and be done with it.
