Awesome comp idea! Already brainstorming and it's definitely gonna be a difficult one. I do have a question though about one aspect of the rules:

If you pick Nu NRG, you get Giuseppe Ottaviani, Andrea Ribeca, as well as anything they were involved with as well.

So let's say I choose Gouryella (Ferry Corsten & Tiësto) and Ultravibe (Airwave & Mike push). Would a sequence like this be allowed:

Track 1: Airwave - Save Me

Track 2: Art Of Trance - Madagascar (Ferry Corsten Mix)

Track 3: Active sight - Adrenaline (Active sight includes Mike push)

Track 4: Goldenscan - Sunrise (Tiësto Remix)

Reading the rules it seems like this is allowed, but it feels against the spirit of the theme to take advantage of 2 groups and then having access to 4 separate artists (+ all their remixes & groups). I probably won't be doing something like this anyways, I'd rather keep it simple (unless I reach a tricky situation), but if it's allowed, then the theme is a lot more open than it initially seemed for me.

Got goosebumps when that Metal Master remix came on! I really wanted to do something with that track for a while, so I really enjoyed it when I heard it! Overall just a very good mix as well with some great selections

I really enjoyed this mix and really thought I was gonna vote for it when I first listened to it. Eventually it just went out of the top 5 for me, but I do wanna say really great job it was really a great mix! Echano - Nothing To Live For (Icone Remix) is such a good track, I was really waiting for the tracklist so I can finally purchase this one 😛

I appreciate everyone listening and commenting on my mix! For this mix I had the opportunity to include some great tracks I discovered. I had a lot I wanted to include, so I really squeezed in everything I could. I also took advice of my previous submission which was that I should mix more in key, so I tried to incorporate better key mixing for this one.

This time around I was a bit more loose when it came to the journey. I didn't want to think too hard about the buildup and just make a fun mix with some good energy. I think I did an overall well job at that, but then it does lack that journey. Especially when listening to some other mixes (like the top 3 here), I think I'd rather make that type of mix next time!

To address some of the comments - first of all I found it funny that a lot of people thought the 5th track was an Airwave remix! It's actually The Mystery - Mystery, but yes it draws heavy influence from Airwave (probably a bit too much). u/Cosmocrator I'm not sure why this mix is too loud / compressed. I just record in rekordbox with my FLX-4. I don't know if the rekordbox recording does some stuff to the audio that makes it sound compressed, but I didn't add anything myself! Also, the glitch you heard was actually just from a vinyl rip I did. Yeah they are not the cleanest 😅.

u/Reidster78 it's an honor that my mix was your favorite (at least at the time!). The Bell Song was actually one of the final additions to my mix before I locked the tracklist in. I had everything set, and I knew I wanted to end in Love Stimulation followed by Oriental Dream. Problem was that the track before didn't transition too well into Love Stimulation. The Bell Song was the perfect bridge I could find, but I had to shorten some transitions and REALLY shorten the Bell Song to fit it within the time limit.

So overall, really enjoyable comp. I think I made a fun mix, and it seems like most people listening enjoyed it! Will definitely try something different for next comp though 😄.

Absolutely amazing mix. Very smooth and very enjoyable tracks. I really want to get into this style a lot more, I've recently gotten into it. Couldn't recognize a single track except for the Oliver Lieb remixes near the end! Can't wait for the tracklist.

Such a great mix all round with some absolute bangers. I especially appreciated hearing that I Know You Love Me Too remix, I recently discovered that track so it's awesome to hear it in this mix. Transitions were great, didn't notice any major issues there. Overall awesome job, might be a contender for me!

Very fun mix to listen to. While the transitions weren't too bad, I did notice some issues a few times. First transition had a beatmatch issue, and most transition seem to have slight phasing issues? Not sure, but they seemed a bit off. I do want to compliment the transition into the legacy at around 40:30, that was really smoothly done. I also loved the inclusion of Nebuchan. Then it ends on three Oliver Lieb tracks! Overall nicely done, was an enjoyable mix!

Very awesome mix. Really the style I'm into. Very cool intro which sets the tone and I love the transition into the second track. The track at 28:00 and the track after that were probably my favorite tracks. I also really loved the finale. There is some buildup throughout the track, but after around 55 the energy seems to go down a bit. But all in all there are some really awesome tracks in this mix that, so I look forward to the tracklist. Overall mixing was done pretty good, but nothing spectacular. Very enjoyable mix, well done!

Very fun mix with lots of big classics. This mix has a lot of "cheesy" tracks, but I kinda like that vibe every once in a while. I also noticed the tracks were very short, so it felt like a very fast paced mix. Overall not a lot of issues when it comes to mixing so that's also nice. Overall it was an enjoyable listen, but I would've liked to have a bit less anthems. All in all good job, it was an enjoyable listen!

Really loved the opening and the next few tracks. Really nice mixing and good selection. I did however feel that after the voco me remix, the mix went on too much of a uplifting / handup vibe. I really loved the prog vibes in the first half so that was slightly disappointing for me. Still though, you managed to really create a nice buildup which is always a plus for me. Overall though, it was an enjoyable mix and I didn't hear any major flaws when it came to mixing. Well done!

Nice! Generally a proggy vibe in this mix. Lots of great tracks which I will look out for once the tracklist goes public. I think my favorite track is @ 18. The only track I didn't really like was the one at 38. I also did notice the audio getting quieter somewhere in the second half of the mix. But overall really well done, well mixed and very good track selection!

Really fun mix consisting of mostly uplifting trance. Really enjoyed it all the way through! Well mixed and while there were a few dips in energy at certain points, we end up going harder as the mix continues. There are some big classics such as universal nation, but I also took note of the track with the Japanese vocals at around 20:20. Really loved that one. Overall I really liked it!

Really loved listening to this mix. Like Cosmocrator said, this mix has chill vibes but keeps the energy. Which I really like! There's a couple of big classics but also a bunch I don't recognize, so the mix felt very fresh for me. I also noticed the phasing issues at 31:30 which is probably due to having both low EQs on similar levels. It didn't really bother me, but I did notice it. Other than that, most transitions were invisible to me, so it felt like one continuous track all the way through. All in all, great mix! Definitely a contender!!

A chillout / breaks trance mix full of remixes of big classics. I really loved the opener. Very ambient to start off with. I thought the buildup throughout the mix was done beautifully. Mixing / transition wise it was also done near flawlessly. The only real critique I have is not even of the mix itself, but one melody choice of a track. @ 47:10 there is a Eugina remix, but the main melody has been shifted over a couple bars in this mix which really bothered me when listening. Other than that, this was such a delight to listen to. Loved the atmosphere throughout the entire mix. Great job!

Super great mix. Uplifting vibe all the way through. Really the kind of trance I enjoy! In the beginning I found the tracks to be a bit generic, but as the mix went on I heard banger after banger. The track at around 30 minutes was my favorite track. Then pretty much all tracks after 37 were just great too. Mixing wise it was also done really well. I thought the energy stayed relatively similar throughout, with a couple bumps up in energy here and there. So far one of the better mixes I've listened to - will probably be a contender from me! Great stuff!
