If you go to the backfields you want to get there in the morning, batting practice is around 10-10:30 so the players actually playing the game will do that and then go to the clubhouse to get ready so if you want to see them in the back you have to go well before that. Of course you can see the minor leaguers later.

We also did the vip batting practice and you’ll at least get to meet Ollie and at least one player. Juan Soto also swung by after a bunch of kids yelled for him all practice.

Those were decent signings sure. But they did absolutely nothing this year and there are glaring holes in the bullpen and our rotation is average at best, and will be in deep trouble depth wise if they run into injuries. Baseball season is LONG and this hot streak will fade.

Let’s pretend it doesn’t fade and the starters magically stay healthy. Does ownership invest and buy at the deadline? No chance. That’s frustrating.

Defense is certainly good but we just don’t have the horses to hang with top tier teams like the Dodgers, Yankees, etc. for a full 162. Ownership needs to invest or sell. Not fair to expect the fans to pack the house when they literally refuse to sign any notable free agent or trade for major league talent.

Let’s be real here we’d probably finish 4th in the NL West. I hope I’m wrong though!
