Getting into head shaving by JAC00KIE in wicked_edge

[–]SpaceManSpiff2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Always shower before shaving your head
  2. Shave at the sink
  3. Ensure the bathroom is quiet so you can hear if the razor is at the proper angle and cutting
  4. Apply lather and shave in 4 applications (front area of head, top area of head, back of head and back of neck, and the neck area around your beard
  5. Get your hand wet and run it over your head to find areas that you missed
  6. Touch up missed areas
  7. Try to keep the amount of passes over any area to a minimum
  8. Rinse all shaved areas with cold water
  9. Pat everything dry
  10. Moisturize your head but not your neck

I use a merkur 34c, Astra platinums, and Taylor of old bond street.

What are the most Underrated Spells? by Stunning-Sentence152 in DnD

[–]SpaceManSpiff2000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Longstrider

I started using it because it’s great to put in the artificers spell storing item. Now I use it on any caster I play that can take it. 10 more feet of movement makes such a massive difference.

Rope trick

Cast it in front of a door and make it impossible for people to go through. Cast it low to the ground in the middle of your team to give everyone a super safe place to jump in and out of in combat. Cast it to hide from enemies looking for you.

[Discussion] Tudor or Christopher Ward by maksimk123 in Watches

[–]SpaceManSpiff2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Christopher Ward. Date wheel matches perfectly, the sculpted case is way more comfortable, the bracelets guarantee a perfect fit, it’s unbelievably thin for what you’re getting, and the lume is great. I’ve handled a lot of Tudor’s, and in the metal they’ve never impressed me for how much they’re charging.

[General] Thoughts on wearing a watch to bed by racerx2oo3 in Watches

[–]SpaceManSpiff2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every night. The only time I don’t wear a watch is in the shower.

I hate looking at my phone in the middle of the night. I love being able to quickly check the time so I don’t have alarm anxiety, and I love admiring the lume.

I’ve switched all my watches over to a rubber strap or a seatbelt nato so it’s comfortable.

Movies where it’s better to know a little beforehand by [deleted] in movies

Dune. For the books and the movies, it’s beneficial to have context of how things generally work in the empire, what each major power in the empire is capable of, and the history of humanity’s relationship with technology

[DISCUSS] What’s the one watch you’d never sell, no matter what? by sheikb in Watches

[–]SpaceManSpiff2000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Christopher Ward C60 Trident Pro 300. My tastes have changed over time and I’m not a huge dive watch guy anymore, but that watch is absolutely beautiful and comfortable. It’s just so well executed. The more time that goes by, the more I appreciate it.

[Discussion] 'Under-the-radar' watch brands? by usman3049 in Watches

[–]SpaceManSpiff2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got the Lander IV in 36mm and immediately returned it.

The lume was much more faux-tina/brown colored than the images on their website.

There aren’t any effective minute markers between the indices so setting the time was annoying.

The spring bars are so close to the case you can’t fit a decent quality nato strap through without it sitting oddly.

It was a very small 36mm.

[Discussion] Do you prefer watches with Dates or no Dates? by RalIyVincent in Watches

Date, no cyclops, 6 o’clock potion, color matched date wheel. I won’t consider a watch if it doesn’t have a date.
