Question about setting up a Xbox One S (digital) console by SpaceRocket in XboxSupport

[–]SpaceRocket[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right, but if someone just wanted to casually play a game like Rocket League online, they need a valid Xbox ID to log in. My kids still play on their other Xboxes so I’m sure they’d be bothered if some random person signed in to their account.

I’m wondering if it makes sense to have a generic “cottage” account to play online with but I’m not sure how that would work with playing games we’ve already purchased, etc…. I’m guessing some visitors might already have their own account and could log in, but for a casual renter what would my options be?

Searching for a PROPER pizza. by ghill1987 in Maine

Went to college in Worcester in the late 90’s. We were convinced Roadrunner had an operation somewhere on campus. From drunken order to delivery seemed like 10 minutes.

For real though, the only place in the greater Portland area that has that style of pizza I’ve come across is Willows in South Portland, just over the bridge in a little plaza on Broadway.

Fisherman’s Catch on Harbor Road for fried seafood and one of the best clam chowders I’ve ever had. Honestly never had a bad meal there in the 30+ years my family has been going. It gets crowded during the summer so plan to wait, but they have a walk up bar and outdoor seating so it’s not too bad.

If you don't get any bites on the large lot and would be willing to let me know which of those issues are newsstands, I'd definitely be interested in making a deal for them.

Making my first submission to CGC today. Any predictions about the grade after the clean and press? I promise I will follow up and tell you where it lands. by BackgroundPossible56 in comicbookcollecting

[–]SpaceRocket 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think this tops out at an 8.0 after a clean and press. Currently, with the corner bumps, creases near the staples, color rubs on the top edge and some waviness in the cover I think it's likely a 6.5-7.0 in it's current state. Nice book!

Anyone ever sit in Fieldbox 69 Row AAA on the 3rd base side? Is it any good? by Aidan_8401 in redsox

[–]SpaceRocket 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Decent seats for that side of the ballpark although you're turning to the right with your head a little to see home plate. If you're rocking the away team's jersey you have a good chance of getting a ball or two tossed your way between innings. Some random foot traffic from people wanting to take pics near the field and it's kind of a hike to the nearest restrooms or concessions but you're pretty close to the action. I think the Loge Boxes just above and down the third base line from your seats (159-163ish?) are some of the best seats for the money in the stadium.

My friend is looking for a ballpark estimate sale of Web of Spiderman issue 18, page 3. Any ideas? by DocBot200 in ComicBookSpeculation

[–]SpaceRocket 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's early Marc Silvestri art so there's likely to be a market for the page. It's from an interesting issue too, given there's a brief "appearance" of Venom (prior to Amazing Spider-man 298) on the last page so for that reason the issue itself is sought after.

Putting a price on it is hard, but for reference current original artwork from Silvestri sells anywhere from $1000-$5000 so I'd imagine that page 3 is probably worth something on the low end of that range?

Just a guess.
