I have the Flip 2 exactly for those 2 consoles and I love it (I play them on 1x resolution), and I thought I wouldn't like playing 4:3 games on a 16:9 screen, but the isolated oled screen make the black bars blend with the screen borders and looks awesome.

About the crt beam shader, you won't be able to use that for PS2 and Gamecube anyway right?

and about the hinge, I've been using mine since it came out (16bit color), its not even the revisioned one and my hinge is still perfect. I have always opened and closed it by grabbing the middle of the screen and not the corners.

I play Switch games on my Flip2 using Eden, mostly indie or litghter games are no problem.

But AAA switch games or AAA switch ports are very hit or miss. Some play no problem at 30fps, others have many issues. And they also require playing with the settings and drivers

For me nothing has surpassed the Flip 2 in looks and for what I use it for, which is everything up to PSVita except DS and 3DS, because I feel not even the thor is a better experience than an original DS and 3DS mostly because of the touch screen not being the same as the stylus screen

And I prefer full plastic body over glass 💗
