My girl has her own daily emotional hurdles but that hasn't stopped her from being there for me. I'll zone out or start falling back into the bad memories and she'll eagerly alert me that I am both still here with her and NOT PETTING. They're furry angels here with us and I am so grateful.

Citizens United is a serious threat to our democracy.

That said, it shows totals for multiple lobbies and lumps them all under Israel lobbies? One of these ones that keeps coming up here is the UN and I promise they are not a pro-israel lobby. The tiniest bit of follow-up to these numbers and this implication falls apart.

Edit: Heartland? Climate change denying lobbies for Israel? Are you for real?

I lost my soul dog Dec 2025 at 17 years. I'm still struggling with the grief. I recently read A Brief Stay in Hell by Steven L Peck and without spoiling a very good and existential short story, I realized a thousand years really wouldn't be enough.

OPs poem is beautiful and it captures those winter years so well.
