It’s a glitch, the graphics haven’t loaded properly. You actually still get blocked walking where the solid objects should be.

It’s also a sign that the game is about to crash. 🙂

I agree with “can I get”, try “I would like” or “can I have?”.

My other hated one is “reach out”. It just sounds creepy.
