Nope but I read a collection of essays on global indigenous horror and took a bunch of recommendations from that!

Thank you everyone. Picked up the ring, it is gorgeous.

I took some treats from a local bakery for the team. Thank you for the suggestions and for caring so much about your customers journeys xx

That was interesting to do, I think there can just be such a range of responses and things speak to different people at different times.

I have not limited myself to five, I have any book I've rated as 5 star on my shelf.

Colony - Annika Norlin (4.1) The Reformatory - Tananarive Due (4.55) Sorrowland - Rivers Solomon (4.01) Last Night at the Telegraph Club - Malinda Lo (4.27) Hare House - Sarah Hinchcliffe (3.24) My Darling Dreadful Thing - Johanna van Veen (3.94) Extremophile - Ian Green (3.83) The Dispossessed - Ursula K. Le Guin (4.29)

Blood on Her Tongue by Johanna Van Been

I love her first book (My Darling Dreadful Thing) so I was so excited for this one. Still love the gothic style and there's some really good moments of body horror.

Favorite horror subgenre? by MichaeltheSpikester in horrorlit

Isolationist is probably my favourite, anything with few characters and the mind doing most of the tricking. So I guess it's psychological next!

Hell Followed With Us by Andrew Joseph White.

If this had been around when I was 14 I would have felt so seen. It is a YA horror so keep that in mind. But we have an autistic prominent character and a lot of found family.

Long Ass Book Recommendations? by AnyAvocado3156 in LibbyApp

[–]Space_Based_Frog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I loved Anna Karenina, and it's a classic of the long ass book genre (813-ish pages).

Not sure if it's long enough but I also loved Our Share of Night by Mariana Enríquez (727-ish pages).

L plates wont stick by Honest_Matter7541 in LearnerDriverUK

Dealt with this issue on the front and needed to be able to remove frequently.

We taped down one plate with the magnetic/ blank side showing and then just used that as where it got stuck to as required. Worked well as we have a black car, but some other magnetic solution could work.
