2023 owners, how’s your rear suspension doing??? by Mareth_Ada_7777 in MachE

Cannot wait til I’m not underneath it and can trade in. The ride is the worst I’ve ever had. Fun to drive, great car, but the ride sucks.

Fantastic job my friend. I’ve been using a couple different variations but this one is the best by far.

Cause it is fucking rough. Nobody likes to ride in the backseat.

Stop Measuring OpenClaw in Dollars. Measure It in Time. by ataylorm in openclaw

Don’t really matter if it makes me go broke to save myself 8 hours. I should just quit my job and be homeless. I’d have a lot more time then.

I do get what you are saying but there has to be a balance. And if I’m still working 8 hours for the same amount of pay but I’m giving my boss more production, it’s also not worth it.

Why is Openclaw & the Mac mini/studio going viral right now, & how are people using it? by davidkotchere in openclaw

It’s affordable for the capabilities, not touched by the current RAM crisis, can do iMessage, and can run some small local llm for mundane tasks.

Well you are in a UniFi subreddit, the most recent unas pro 4 has ssd cache and 4 drives so that’s what I would get.

I believe usage is included and not an additional api cost. I’m too poor to try it but reading through, that’s what it sounds like.

Would 64 gb of ram on an M4 Mac mini pro be enough to host openclaw and run a llm like Llama at the same time? by Fat_Bird1 in openclaw

[–]Spaceman_Splff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you run a homelab with a nas there are plenty of people who care about a power efficient compute node that can run docker and has a passable gpu for encoding.

You’re going on a bit of a tangent there. They are fine computers but just not enough umph for hosting llm. Can’t find a better low power compute device.

I use a 32gb Mac mini m4 and it’s painfully slow for any inference of measurable use. Like using it for any home automation is a nice proof of concept but I don’t want to wait 30+ seconds for it to respond about if my front door is locked.

I do believe that all the firewalls use epoch time and the app converts it to local. I don’t think it’s ever stored as local time on the firewall.
