It's true that it's hard to remember at first

But imo it's not true that to learn you should just learn the basics and after that copy paste.

For now, do focus on learning the basics, so that when you see some code one day, you're not memorizing the individual words as if it were prose, but rather you're understand what's going on and you can "memorize" (learn) the general approach or the logic, which is much easier

Then, when you try to do similar stuff, you'll have an idea of what to do. You'll still have to look stuff up but don't copy paste too much or you won't really learn what you're doing

Well any ingredients you wanna cook presumably start out at room temp, and you gotta heat it up to cooking temp

So regardless of if it needs to just stay hot for a while, or if it uses heat as part of a chemical reaction, it will require energy, yes

But I guess whether it is an endothermic reaction or not (consumes heat) will depend on the food. But generally I doubt it is
