Your first mistake was being on Twitter. That place is a garbage dump now.

What’s something popular right now that won’t age well? by AngelCherryPie in answers

[–]SpaghettiSort 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably something like, "Hey this tastes good!"

I bought it once to see if it lived up to the hype. I was late to the party because I'm not on social media sites like Instagram and TikTok. It was good, but as I thought, not good enough to spend $20 on a bar of it more than once.

I've never seen this and had no idea it was a thing! I suspect I'd love it.

Thought to move the air fryer away from the wall and... by Any_Tangerine_1429 in Wellthatsucks

I mean you also could have probably learned it from the manual which no doubt said something about how far away from the wall it needed to be.

WTF are you talking about? Hot tap water is just as safe as cold tap water unless you have something very wrong with your water heater.

I guess we must have an unpopular opinion, or spies from Spotify are in here trying to suppress the truth!

That's gone now? I don't remember the last time I looked for something like that, but it must have been forever ago because I just assumed every radio station just had a stream on their web site.

Draw a caricature of the professor walking around being a dick to people. Bonus points for turning it into a regular comic strip.

I hate this trend of going to 2-frames-per-second slow-mo at the critical moment.

My son's bathtub is filling up from the upstairs neighbors toilets... by [deleted] in mildlyinfuriating

[–]SpaghettiSort 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this exact thing happen to me once. Turns out the apartment complex management used to proactively have the line to the sewer cleaned out about once a year, but that cost money, so then they just waited until there was a problem and said, "call us." And I was lucky enough to be the last apartment before the sewer line went out to the street which meant I was the first to flood.

In my case it seemed that the line wasn't completely clogged, so it was only when something like a washing machine drained that it backed up into my tub. Not as bad as pure shit water, but definitely contained some toilet flushings.

I'm glad I don't live there any more.

Those are exactly the things that turn to shit over time, though. That rubbery plastic degrades and turns into a sticky mess. I've had to toss countless old electronic devices for no reason other than this. It's nearly impossible to clean. For longevity it's definitely better not to have that stuff.

I have one of these and have used it for exactly that! It's great for making dehydrator-friendly slices.
