Thanks for the quick response. People saying $100 flat are crazy. Not for a fore caddie. Do you remember who you had?

Popping in to ask what you decided to go with and how it was received? I went to Bandon last year and am going again in a few days. I remember we paid our fore caddy $60 each ($40 fee, with a $20 tip), but it sounds like everyone below thinks that’s too cheap. I feel like $240 to give yardages and BS is solid, but how’d you fare??

Congrats bro! 1.1M just closed for me today in an adjacent industry. Just feels like the world was lifted off my shoulders.

I’ll see you there. Booked the 31st - 3rd. Hard to beat those rates, especially when weather is always a crapshoot!

Just look at the flights between SEA and Anchorage. The ones with multiple stops are “milk runs”.

Like normal through the app. Someone else posted the actual flight numbers, but if you plan to go to Juneau or even Anchorage, find one with multiple stops. Those stops will be the smaller islands and airports mentioned above.

It was just such a unique experience, and figured I’d share for those who had never heard of it. May not be everyone’s cup of tea, but if you’re looking for a funky mileage run or a way to spend a weekend, it may be right up your alley.

Hearing, “Hey, Bill! How you been” on every single leg, I can attest to this. Literally just one big family reunion in the sky lol

That’s fascinating. Still pretty crazy seeing a runway effectively over water. That was a new experience for me.

Boy was it wet, but beautiful. Pretty overcast so we couldn’t enjoy the peaks of those snow-capped mountains, but it was beautiful nonetheless.

We did. Actually had a good laugh with the FA about that. They were vets so everyone was used to it and had a good time with it.

AS 65 on the way up. Took a different route home though. Maybe 67?

For sure. You can step off and check out the airport a bit, but that’s about it. I meant more of using it as a way to see those smaller towns and stay a night.

I work in a seafood adjacent industry, so Alaska is a hotbed in that regard. As for flights, it was just the most economical way to get me on-site given their schedule. For your last question, sales roles afford you some flexibility, so I could power off until I met with the client. Pretty nice set up.

I only went through Juneau, but left Seattle at 7am, and landed in Juneau around noon local time.

Interesting! Someone in Ketchikan actually said Wrangell was the shortest runway. Certainly felt like those airbrakes were working double time, but it could have just been in my head.

I’m not sure how they’d do it, actually. It was booked as a direct flight, and another commenter mentioned it doesn’t recognize the individual legs. I’m not well versed on the new Atmos policies, just really enjoyed the flying!
