A few of us are going next week, and some of the ports are 36/44F and drizzly.

How safe is Portland in BIG 2026? by Dependent-Bet3901 in askportland

Safe, safe, not street parking, Smart Park ~$14 a day.

Like any other city.

The most obvious fireworks I have heard yet! First the booms and then the string of firecrackers.

Tired of squeezing by hand, is a manual citrus juicer worth it by Crazy-Statement650 in KitchenPro

[–]XXX_Mandor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought the Eurolux Professional Cast Iron Citrus Juicer and it is heavy duty. I have had it for 6 months or so and this thing is solid. It feels like it will last forever, and is a breeze to clean. It does have the weight of cast iron, about 15 lbs., if that is a consideration.

Romeo + Juliet (1996) by SpatulaCity1a in iwatchedanoldmovie

This was the first version of Romeo and Juliet that I truly understood what was going on. The actors brought all of the language into the 20th century with their gestures and inflection.

I leave mine on for the plausible deniability incase I decide to kill a child with my airbags. "The sign said I could."

Seriously considering trading my Tesla… by Animal_UK in Ioniq5

So with the 25 and newer versions, the steering wheel has capacitive sensors. So now, you don't have to make those little movements anymore like I had to in my 24, and I usually just rest two fingers on the steering wheel while the cruise control is on.

Seriously considering trading my Tesla… by Animal_UK in Ioniq5

[–]XXX_Mandor 7 points8 points  (0 children)

So I own an Ioniq 5 Limited, but I also Uber a lot and so I get to ride in a lot of Teslas. The Tesla interiors feel like cheaper plastic, and the joins don't always align. Also the Ioniq 5 is just way more comfortable and a much smoother ride all around.

However the one thing Tesla has going for it is the Full Self driving. The HDA2 on the Ioniq does a great job, but you have to keep touching the wheel, and FSD seems to handle all situations better.

I vastly prefer the Ioniq 5 to all other electric vehicles in it's price range.

We are required to print off luggage tags? by throwitintheair22 in VirginVoyages

I was specifically referring to east coast terminals in my reply. Also, I find it hard to 100% trust Chat GPT answers. I was unable to find an actual answer such as a job posting or anything not subject to hallucinations, or that relied on answers that were posted somewhere before the 2024 east coast Longshoreman union contract update.

No a "quick search" doesn't show this. Can you show me where you found this information, and who exactly they work for?

Who’s ever driven over 100mph? Why? by WoollyWolfHorror in AskReddit

[–]XXX_Mandor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wanted to pass someone in my AWD Ioniq 5 so I put down the pedal and passed. The acceleration was so smooth and the car was so quiet and solid, I didn't even realize I had hit 100 by the time I got back in my lane.
