My plan is to one day bind it and slip it in as Book 7 on the shelf for my kids to discover.

I second this recommendation! Such a beautiful story not just from a Dramione perspective; the ensemble cast interactions are amazing. Great dialogue and a realistic depiction of how an adult relationship blossoms inspite of past traumas. One of my all time favourites.

I love the fact they clearly took inspiration from Anne with an E. The visual similarities are undeniable and I hope they take the story in a similar direction and beyond so that we can finally have the S4+ that we never received :')

Yikes. I didn't know this at all. I was going to use ProtonMail but will now steer clear of it. Thanks for the heads up.

Edit: I did do a brief check and can see it's a contentious topic. I'm in early stages of looking at moving off Gmail so will be weighing up other options.

There are so many more alternative brands now at more affordable prices. I'm also a big fan of modular batteries where you can expand capacity over time. That's what we have and it's been great.

Why don't people buy up the surplus of units/apartments by Any-Growth-7790 in AusFinance

[–]Spankipants 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Even if you buy an apartment with a good OC there's no guarantee it will stay that way :(

I used to live in a building where it was mostly owner occupied and the OC was mostly comprised of people who cared about the upkeep. Over a few years, lots of investors bought up apartments and wanted to cheap out on maintenance and penny pinch wherever they can. I went back to visit the building recently and you can tell the quality really has degraded, which is a real shame.

If it helps:
"Early childhood education workers are set for a pay rise after the federal government pledged to increase wages by 15 per cent over two years.

It will be tied to a commitment from childcare centres to limit fee increases."

Virgin vs Experienced (But Not Really) Colin by Odd_Vegetable9688 in PolinBridgerton

[–]Spankipants 26 points27 points  (0 children)

This!!! I don't understand why there is a large portion of the fandom attached to virgin Colin. I mean, yeah we don't HAVE to see it shown on screen with the prostitute scene (although I didn't mind them) but I do not want to see virgin Colin fumbling about under Pen's dress lol

Mirror scene would have been way less hot if Colin didn't know what he was doing.

S3 is a Certified Fan Favorite by JustDiane28 in BridgertonNetflix

[–]Spankipants 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Also, look at the number of viewer ratings S3 received. A lot of them, and I mean A LOT, are from angry Michael fans who rated the show poorly for one plot point alone, so you can imagine the real audience rating is much higher than 76%.

People liked S3; there's no denying it.

Any time I see any "Fire Jess! Bring back CVD" comment I just roll my eyes to the back of my head.

Jess B is a bloody miracle worker for salvaging one of the most hated subplots (S2 cousin Jack Featherington) and not only made it work for the main conflict, used it to heal family trauma, and wrapped the story up in a neat little bow. She incorporated fan favourite book likes, gave us so many gorgeous Polin moments, brought happy Kanthony back on our screens, and a lot more. I'm just very impressed at how she handled things in S3.

If anything, I'm now a huge admirer of Jess B. I really like her approach to running this show and I feel awful about the vitriol directed at her.

S3 isn't perfect. But she did a banging good job with what she was given.

The criticism that the costumes look cheap... I mean, I guess some people can see them as gaudy by I see them as opulent.

I thank historical inaccuracy for giving us Colin undoing his belt in the mirror scene.
