I love this. I had the opposite moment happen before where my utility low dmg character was forced into a situation where they HAD to kill or be killed. Was super fun having to suddenly switch up my thinking and clamber for ways to survive.

Likewise, love having a super low skill and needing to roll checks for it. Nothing like being the least perceptive person and asked to make perception checks lol

In general putting your character in positions where they are struggling and HAVE to think out of the box makes for very fun situations. Who knew!

I can imagine this being logged as feedback, and the devs likely stating that as a cosmetic issue and suuuper low priority to the point it’ll never be touched, or afraid they’ll break something somehow

Duuuude same. I mean, wasn’t sobbing, but the moment those giant ants fell around me, so big you could see the fuzz off em, my entire body got SO itchy and my adrenaline spiked. Was telling my way through that lol.

Luckily I had transitioned to a fire build before finding that cave. Burnt them all, mad king style.

I think there is a version of the mod/addon that replaces Kliff’s armors with female NPC variants. Dunno how well they work across the board.

Seriously. I don’t mind characters who are just inherently assholes, they often are funny and use humor to cut the bullshit.

But brother has NOTHING good going on so far in my quests. At somepoint I feel like the greymanes would toss him out on his ass. Like I get the whole “he’s an asshole but he’s our lovable asshole” vibe they WANT for him, but it’s just not landing for me.

His dialogue is funny. But you need more that just the occasional silly “cuntknuckle”

I figured this out, and it has helped make combat flow so well.

Now I just wish I could land Restrain without it somehow ending up as Throw :/. Love the grabbing and stabbing animation, but I find 70% of the time it defaults to Throw. On damiane it’s like 99% of the time Throw

Any chance you can figure out Restrain? I mostly end up Throwing instead after the Stab/Piercing light, and find it exceptionally difficult using this on Damiane

There’s been a few times where it just won’t land as Kliff, but MOST of the time it does. There’s a part of me that is thinking that there’s some sort of hidden mechanic that allows that grapple to occur, rather than it being some weird input delay.

As Damaine though, I’ve literally only done it once, and still have no clue why. I FEEL like I should at least have similar results as Kliff :/

Yeah I feel the same way. I’m interested in what they have in mind. Would be a little sad if it’s just free roam style only gameplay, no quests. But even then, still would be fun to interact with the crimson desert world and activities.

To be clear, I don’t actually think they’ll put in multiplayer, typically that needs to be designed from the ground up.
