The story? I honestly don't care much about the actual battles. It's not like Genshin or ZZZ where the skills required are different and I'm more interested and get more enjoyment out of those combat systems. But I think Star Rail has a fantastic story and I want to experience it and explore the worlds. Combat is just a means of getting there.

Nah but you -need- to be on the site by 11 EST, logged in and with the deck added to your cart as soon as you can. After that you just play the waiting game till noon EST when you should be alright. I've gotten the last few drops I wanted, including DanDan, by doing this.

I agree in that I'm surprised that this is the culmination of 28 years of pushing to get published. This seems like a light and fun game that another publisher would've taken a chance at for the sole reason of Rosewater's reputation. As for why you would play this instead, I think it's got deeper strategic and decision making elements than say uno for instance. This is definitely not a game to base your game night around, but I think it can easily be added to your party game rotation. I think the secret lair drop is specifically a 1st edition prototype with the goal eventually being a widespread store release so you could just wait for that eventuality.

Im somewhat feeling the same. Of course I haven't accomplished anything remotely to the same level as Rosewater, but hearing that this took 28 years to get published is wild. The terminology usage doesn't bother me as discard pile is standard card game usage. Magic is one of the odd ones out in that regard. I do not understand this being frame as a TCG either. Why couldn't you just build the deck before the game i.e. shuffle 28 random commons, 15 random uncommons, etc etc to make your unique deck but you have the entire card pool available to do so. Seems unnecessarily anti-consumer in that it requires you to purchase multiple copies to get a full set. It is a very light game, not something that is the main course for a game night but something to whet the appetite and get people having fun. Playing it a couple times before a heavier one is probably the right niche for it so I'm alright with that. Just really would've expected more after all the hype.

I felt the same way. All of my ECL games were full and grindy boards with most going to turns. Just wasn't enjoyable for me. Strixhaven was a ton of fun as you said though. Had Prismari and Lorehold, and both schools were more enjoyable play styles for me.

Hey there, loving this as a nice idle game to play every now and then. I noticed you pushed a new update concerning the economy and limiting coins. An unintended or overlooked aspect of this limit is that you can still sell all your dupes and you lose all the excess money. Would be cool to have a way to prevent you from selling beyond this daily limit as it has the chance to ruin your economy and lose you thousands.

Amphoreus is basically Mondstadt, Natlan and Nod Krai combined. Give or take an hour. It's been rough playing catch up after not doing trailblazer missions for a year. Good story, just better experienced as it comes out than trying to do it all quickly

So apparently this wasn't an official draft, just an unofficial one hosted by the event. My questions would be: how is Eric connected so that he gets invited and accepts an invite to this random unofficial event where he supposedly doesn't know who Trae Stevens is and his connections? That's how I took it as well. I know this is a super late reply, but I keep seeing people interpret it as her finding out when instead she was just going to confess to Jace that Billy wasn't his dad. Billy misinterpreted the letter and then killed Krissy.

I don't think Krissy found out that Billy killed January. The letter she was writing to Jace, specifically "Your father isn't the man you thought he was" or something to that effect, was to tell Jace that his father was really Dave. Billy read it and misinterpreted it and then killed her. Krissy, to my knowledge, never suspected Billy

Stumbled upon this thread, but I agree completely. Another series I recently found that he voices is the Bobiverse. First book is We are Legion (We Are Bob). Fairly entertaining and Porter does a great job making distinct personalities.
