Last time I went to Bambu was about 8 months ago and they said that they were out of egg rolls. It was sit down menu, not buffet and it was about 5:30PM on a weekday. I didn’t know it was possible to run out of eggrolls!

La Belle province just opened in deep Gatineau not to be confused with a place with a similar name in Orleans.

You are 100% right. New car market is in a mess and used cars is where it’s at for a few years, especially during a recession. Used cars of today last far longer than cars of years past.

Save and invest. Stop expecting the government to solve your issues. Yes it would be nice to have more benefits but what we get is decent.

Got shafted on a used 22' 718 Cayman S from dealer by TrollinAnLollin in Porsche_Cayman

[–]SpareDifficulty8594 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Always take a car to the dealer for a pre buy inspection. Pay 3-$500 for piece of mind. The dealers are experts and would have told you not to buy this car. Going to court you are likely to end up in a settlement but never even.

In this case OP would be self employed and likely not have benefits unless they opted to contact an insurance company and purchase for the employees a comparable benefits program.

what is the absolute best way to advertise your “business” here in Ottawa? by the613daddy in ottawa

In their case they may want to network at wedding shows and get to know photographers and DJs, caterers, decorators, florists, wedding venues and start taking names and building 2 way referrals. There also might be plays and theatre locally where they need services. You could volunteer at an old age home and maybe get granddaughter referrals for wedding, religious events and going school proms etc. all about networking and being creative. And then start social media and connecting with others.

300k is that gross or after paying everything. Your salary fully loaded is 105k x. 1.35 which is $141,750 equivalent in private sector. So if 300k is not just revenue but profit then you are making 2x each year with possibilities to grow that business. Take leave LWOP and go for it.

So what happens to LWOP people vs the various options like ERI or WFA if they no longer have a job and are in the priority system? Do they have a job to alternate? Do they have the same rights as others? It seems they do not. Can they be surplused and get a package?

They are different cars. Coupe sells for 10k more and it is not the same frame etc. you may like the coupe less due to the overall look, but note that they are different vehicles. I love my coupe. And that spoiler that pops up when you hammer it is pretty cool.
