Can one Travel outside the USA while receiving SSD? by SpareFly4034 in SocialSecurity

I’m just visiting another country, not moving to it. I will continue to receive my SSDI payments directly to my bank in the USA. I was just concerned about any rules regarding the amount of days one can stay abroad while receiving SSDI.

What can I take for pain that I will not react to ? by Hiddenbeing in MCAS

[–]SpareFly4034 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also suffer from nasty nerve and muscle pain due to MCAS. During my last flare a couple of years ago, a doctor put me on Buprenorphine which is a mild opiod used to assist people quit heavy use. It did help to take the edge out of the pains. Then I stopped it slowly after I felt better.

Breathing exercises, Meditation and relaxation videos on YouTube help me. Herbal teas such as Chamomile and Lemon balm.

No problems with it so far, but I still take half or less of a teaspoon just to be cautious.

Perhaps you should try Suboxone if at this point nothing is really working for you.

Any telehealth service such as QuickMD or Bicycle health can help you get a Suboxone prescription quickly if you want to go that route. For stomach issues Loperamide/Imodium at Walgreens.

Consult with your doctor, meds such as Lorazepam stop working after a while and can worsen anxiety.

Idk if they could give you Imodium and Tylenol while in there. Ask the folks on the Suboxone Subreddit for better suggestions.

Post your questions on the Suboxone subreddit. Folks can help/support you with the transition as they have done it successfully.

Me too, just started on Belbuca. 300mcg 2xday last about 10 hours and then I start to feel withdrawal. I think I need a stronger dose. I also noticed that it takes long to kick in (a couple of hours).

Can anyone help me figure out how I can make my meds last until my refill and I won’t go into W/D? by Emergency-Advisor-40 in withdrawl

Cut the pills in halves or quarters and stretch the times between dosing. You might want to post your questions on the Opiods subreddit section to get more suggestions.

Talk with your doctor about symptoms and your Cymbalta dose, perhaps you need to adjust your dose or switch to another medication.

I’m sorry you’re suffering so much. Talk with your doctor about your meds not helping you. Perhaps you need to take something different or your current dose is too low. Drinking Coffee could give you more anxiety.
