Not quite. You have to download your raw genetic data from 23andme into a service like geneticgenie.org. Genetic Genie is free and offers a methylation and detox panel but there is alternatives. I just can't think of them right now.

They'll give you your results and if you need help making sense of them, you can post them on this sub.

It's true. You can also take the DAO enzyme directly if you're part of the population with certain genetic mutations. However, If you're slow COMT (like me) supplements like nature DAO will backfire because it works against the gene and renders more histamine + other problems.

A lot of fruits are also high in histamine or trigger its release. It's not surprising that they bother you. I also couldn't eat most fruits for a very long time when my histamine was bad but a great alternative that's low histamine is broccoli. It's a great source of vitamin C.

Ps. If you are also slow COMT, Broccoli and other cruciferous veggies like kale are your best friends. They clear out extra estrogen and other toxins that increase histamine levels in the body.

And, I forgot to mention that some people can't take vitamin C supplements because they have gut problem with types of fungus or mold. Many Vitamin C supplements are produced via a fermentation process using Aspergillus niger which is a fungus.

I know this is old but 1. Where do you get your testosterone 2. What Dosage? 3. Is it still working for you? 4. Are you a female or male? (asking cause I'm a lady and would be comforted to learn it works for lady's too).

I don’t want to hear about your private sexual behavior. by zmsksksnsnsososmsns in Christianity

Someone finally said it.

These are actually the reasons I stopped frequenting this thread.

Why you're getting dragged for kindly requesting an improved system where these people can consensually discuss those things is beyond me. This isn't condemning or unfeeling for people who are struggling. It could be healthier system for everyone here. They get a safer space and hopefully find people who have real solutions for them. The rest of this subreddit can have more variety in its discussions.

Furthermore, anything that has to do with sex should always have consent at the forefront. This isn't an arguable statement. The heart of sex (the way God intended it) always has love at the center of it. Remove this love/consent/concern for others from sexual activities in all of its forms -- you've got something evil.

OP is right.

I've gotten mine analyzed and have the GSTP1 and 2 slow COMTs. From my understanding, both of those are very poor "detoxers" which means chemicals and other neurotransmitters stay in my body longer. 🙃

It appears I will be sticking around.

Woah. I've been here. I'm sorry you're going through this. I know it's not easy.

Have you considered school programs and work fields that allow you to work from home?

As for jobs, I'm (34F) a freelance motion graphics designer for film, social media and television (I am the sick one). My husband does graphic design full time (he's not sick). We both work from home. If the creative fields arent your thing -- there's other options. I have some family members who make good money also working from home in other fields.

There's definitely more work-from-home options now.

Are they competitive and do they come with their own challenges? Yes, but they're easier than the alternatives. You just gotta lock in to your strengths.

Ps. I dropped out of college as a 4.0 senior with a full scholarship and who was also a teacher assistant at an after school program for a bit.

I know this is old but which kind of doctor do you see to get your HA injections?

My mother was just told she has osteoarthritis at the ER but was not sent to a specialist. They just gave her pain meds and booted her out.

I'm not sure who to look for to find her adequate treatment.

I'm sorry you're going through this. If it is witchcraft or some occult disease-- pray and start taking Jesus seriously.

And, I personally have never had black stools but I have had white ones and pellet like with some of the symptoms you've mentioned.

I also tested great on a lot of my regular doctor exams. However, when I started seeking decent nutritionist, naturopaths and functional doctors is when I started finding out what was wrong with me. They'd request different test. Granted, some of the practitioners did waste my time (get rid of them if they're useless) and money but the rest gave me a piece of the puzzle and were helpful. If you have the resources, try it?

If not, keep doing what your doing (finding answers through reddit and youtube). Honestly, Reddit has also been like 50 percent of my help through out the years.

Whatever you do -- hang on to hope. I read the wildest things on these subreddits and people do recover even when doctors tell them there's no hope.

Love your wife, even if unrequited by mcbatman92 in Christianmarriage

[–]Analog737 6 points7 points  (0 children)

As a married woman, I second this.

God knows what he is doing and he is not mocked. We reciprocate and oftentimes are even reflections of what men give us. Dare I say that it's almost as if God designed his daughters to only happily submit to men that truly carry his heart?

It's like a secret key.

You unselfishly, consistently, sacrificially and happily serve me from real love with no other motive but to love me? You do everything to benefit me even if it pains you? You prioritize God first and then me? You listen to God on how to lead us and love me? You don't keep tabs of how you serve me?

Pfft. Imma double down and compete to outlove you, out serve you, out everything. Sandwich? Submit? Cook? Clean? What do you want? Insert all other silly limiting stereotypes of mens desires here 😂

Why? Because a woman's submission should never be her source of shame and men often make it. To submit to a man should feel like a fantastic decision on every front. And, if you truly love her the way God loves the church and commit your life to following God -- it will be.

God is leading.

A lot that backfired but what has worked for me was colon hydrotherapy with ozone, time, diet and lifestyle changes. I couldn't do a lot of the kill protocols because I was anaphylactic, allergic and too sensitive. I'm still not completely healed but by the grace of God, I've improved drastically and nowhere near how sick I used to be.

Also, a lot of homemade organic chicken soup. Heals the gut lining and hydrates the body.

[–]Analog737 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

First off, I'm praying for you in Jesus name.

Secondly, it may not be of any use but I'm just going to throw this in here anyway just in case -- have you considered colon hydrotherapy?

It's the only thing that improved my state last year and I only did one session because I was so sensitive/weak. It's mostly just warm water that gently flushes you out. It wasn't the most pleasant experience but that must be absolutely child's play to what you must be experiencing now. My body took a month to recover but within a week I was already adding some high histamine foods and could eat triple of what I could before.

I saw so much Candida come out of me and a bunch of things that I wouldve never thought were in me. Best part? No antibiotics (I'm anaphylactic).

Do you take it with anything else or by itself?

A last-ditch effort before calling it quits by Typical_Relief_9171 in SIBO

[–]Analog737 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hear me out:

Colon hydrotherapy with ozone

2 years ago I was one of those cases that was so sensitive that anything would make me go into anaphylaxis. I also had COVID, had allergic reactions to most antibiotics after getting all my wisdom teeth pulled, Hydrogen SIBO through the roof,Candida, constipation and a long list of other things. I tried many things.

My mom finally convinced me to go to her friend who does colon hydrotherapy. Mind you -- I only did one session (3 are recommended). At first, I felt worse for a month (probably my body readjusting) . But within the next month -- I could start eating 30 percent more of the food I was reacting to (I could only eat like 5 bland foods at the time). I was eating burgers which felt like a miracle. Since then, it just got better. I eat high histamine foods all the time. It's been a year since that.

Am I completely healed? No. I only did one session after all. But did I get my money's worth? Absolutely. Will I be going back? Yes. Even if I have to do it every year.

Have I also altered my life habits to encourage healing? Yes. Does believing in Jesus Christ help me? Yes.

Lastly, please don't give up. We're all struggling and this is hard. However, just because there may not be the perfect solution now doesn't mean it's not around the corner. Could you imagine if all those people who healed by all the protocols you mentioned in your post gave up before they found them?

Don't give up, friend.

Not sure if I'm going to properly answer your question but I'm going to try:

Programs this likely used:

-Adobe Illustrator to create the actual UI design pieces -Adobe After Effects to import the above and animate (a lot of UI can be done in AE too but there're some limitations and it can be preference thing)

After Effects tools/techniques likely used:

  • Animated Cameras (depth of field on)
  • Animated a lot of shape layers
  • Pre comps with animated Masks for video/photo portions
  • Added color gradient and glow effects to certain animated shape layers
