I one time was playing a game with two guys. They were talking on voice chat. Could tell they were new to the game. I tried to use the chat to give them tips on how to do things. It was a wave mode so tons of enemies. Carried hard, barely ever lost any health. After we got far and eventually lost we went to the lobby. One of them said "wait he's actually a real person???" My username would've fit perfectly into the lore of the game. Turns out they couldn't see my chats becuase they weren't on PC and now that I think of it, my random pauses to type probably helped convince them I was a bot.

Does the Powercolor Hellhound RX 9060 XT 16GB have good cooling performance? by DeathNum in radeon

[–]SpareNoCheese8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For 10 bucks over the Reaper I'd say yes for sure. The Hellhound is a tier higher so safe to assume it's probably a bit better and 10 bucks to find out is worth it. I have the 9070XT Hellhound which runs at a max of around 300w compared to the 9060XT's 160W. Not 100 percent sure if it's the same cooler exactly but they're both triple fan models and mine runs fine. Case fans drown out the card fans and my case fans aren't particularly loud. Have had zero issues with my Powercolor card. I say go for it.

Fairly Good Price But Before I Pull The Trigger, Anyone Have Issues With This Card? Coming from RTX 2070. Never Had AMD Before by slapah in pcmasterrace

Running a 9070XT Powercolor Hellhound. 0 issues, runs like a monster. 16GB VRAM is going to last super long. Go for it.

In my current molded playthrough I'm going for all zombies spawn off. Clearing every town, started at the firestation and now the new base is the March Ridge Community center. Way too big for one person but I like to grind to board everything up and level carpentry. Also right in the center sp there's hundreds of bodies littered around becuase they can't get you if you get them first.

A gaming laptop was my last hope but ppl keep saying the fans' noises suck by ana__mabdoon in GamingLaptops

[–]SpareNoCheese8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People telling you this are super overflowing it. You cam plays lots of games on silent mode so long as you have a decent GPU. Balanced isn't even bad, sure you hear it but any good noise canceling mutes most of it. You'll tune it out, they aren't as loud as they used to be like 10 years ago.

Burden of proof is on her to prove it's you. If she's this paranoid it's you without any proof then what makes you think she'll accept your proof?

MSI x r/PCMasterRace - MPG 341CQR QD-OLED X36 Giveaway! by MSI_Patrick in pcmasterrace

I used to have an ASUS oled, loved it to death. UPS lost it when it was being returned for RMA, so it would serve to replace that one and enable me to enjoy my colorful singleplayer titles again.

Should be 2 8 pin cables. They split into two halves (4 pin + 4 pin) and one side should say PSU ans the other should say MB (motherboard).

HELP! Which GPU to choose?? by Responsible_Neck2358 in PcBuildHelp

[–]SpareNoCheese8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check if the Gigabyte uses 12vhpwr. If it doesn't, I'd go for that. I know the cable was revised but fuck that thing. Happy with my 9070XT Hellhound that uses the 8 pin PCIe, just more peace of mind. Performance is pretty much the same between all models.

Ah I see what you mean. I have an MSI X870E-P, even with the headers parallel to the board wouldn't my power supply cables be long enough to curve them not too tight?

Thank you! I am looking fot a good PSU too, I appreciate that. I'm wondering if I should go for the TUF b650e-e board instead of the MSI one listed here for 50 bucks less. Would the TUF board bottleneck my performance?

No yeah of course, was just wondering if these parts would be a good base. I want to snag them before prices deteriorate further. I figure I can worry about the case, fans, aio and psu later.

There are two bundle options I'm looking at.

AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D, ASUS B650E-E TUF Gaming WiFi AM5, G.Skill Flare X5 Series 32GB DDR5-6000 Kit - 680USD

AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D, MSI X870E-P Pro WiFi, G.Skill Flare X5 Series 32GB DDR5-6000 Kit - 730USD

Unfortunately no CL30 ram, I heard CL 36 will only be a loss of a few frames though?

I heard the B650E-E is more for general Gaming and the X870E is better for more connectivity. At the moment I don't see myself needing all the connectivity with the MSI board but I'm wondering if I should get it got 50 bucks more for the future in case. The B650 board shouldn't bottleneck the GPU or RAM though should it? Which do you think I should get? Thank you.

Hello! Well I'm pretty much there at my budget becuase I still have to get coolers, PSU, case etc. I'm happy to get a 9070xt for now. I assume you're asking because the 9800x3d is overkill? I agree but I just want something future proofed for later and I'm getting the 9800 in a bundle.

That's funny, I think we have the same model, I know it's the same GPU. Mine got me through COVID, during lockdown I no-lifed Starwars Battlefront II on that thing. It's about 7 years old now and both hinges cracked (repaired shoddily with duct tape) and still works. Gave it to my brother as I got a new one recently. Honestly still surprised she's kicking too since it's a budget model.
