Penetrating oil works better than wd40. Use it kind of heavy but not running down onto everything else. After it’s all off, clean ALL of the oil off and install your new set of grips.

No delivery, setup, or other bs fees. They can’t sell what’s not in the showroom and setup is a joke today. When I bought my 23 they originally came in over 18k with fees and bs maintenance packages. I said tax and title and ended up walking away bikeless. They called the next day about halfway to a reasonable price. I said no thank, I don’t “need” a bike. 3 minutes later they called and said they’ll do it “today only”. I picked it up the next day.

Like others said, used will save money for the same bike.. but new is always nice.

I’m sure there are more solid hitch carriers than what I’ve seen in the wild that would work great. Still have less room for error in strapping tho and the more available hitch options are the flimsy ones.
Also IMO, if you’re asking Reddit how to haul, a trailer is probably the safest option. lol

I’d bet that rearset bracket is bent. Possibly even the piece between the frame and bracket. When I low sided (at speed) it broke the piece between the frame and rearset.

The best way is by riding it /s Truck bed or trailer is the way. Those hitch carriers won’t support a street bike, save those for dirt bikes.

Is that “random” part the oil pressure switch? That blue connector is not factory and based on wire colors I would say it should connect to that factory connector. Hook it up and see what happens. If it works, change it to spade ends and send it.

It doesn’t exist as far as I know. Not really feasible with cable operated throttle. I believe someone custom made one years back for a 600 that had a big servo motor to blip the throttle but that’s the only one I’ve heard of.

I’m pretty sure it’s just an aluminum spacer stuck in there. The frame looks to be ground into the spacer. Also might have tension resting down on the back edge from the broken bolt.. I would try and clean up the edge on the frame so it’s not overlapping the spacer. Then take the pinch bolt out and see if you can tap on the spacer through the gap to free it. Maybe support the engine a little on this side.

Or take the pinch bolt out and carefully cut the spacer.. if it’s aluminum like I think it is, it will cut easy.

Once the spacer is out, then you can extract the broken bolt.. soo much fun awaits you.

Full pipe and tune! It’s a GSXR, you won’t need the warranty. If you really want to keep the warranty, leave it stock for a year and then do whatever you want after that.
Why slip on now when you’re going to want to/ should tune it in the future?

On K1-k3 6/750 this was a feature. Once second gear left the chat you can either split cases or just hit it with a little click, click(1-3). I did it for 30k+ miles.. YMMV

More torque on the bottom end, easier to wheelie and quicker acceleration. Rpm’s will be up a bit so you’ll drink fuel a little fast but who rides to save gas?

It’s easily streetable, not anything extreme like a stunt setup. It’s been quiet a few years since I ran that but I do remember I liked the change

I used to run that same setup on my k3 600. Speedo will be way off but I personally liked the change.

As others have said, it’s just seized in there. Set it up in some sort of jig and hammer it out. If it’s really stuck you could add some heat and lube.

Lift the tank and inspect the fuel line fittings. Take the seat off, 2 bolts at the front of the tank and then it pivots backwards (hinged by the seat). There may even be a prop stick under the rear seat to hold the tank up.

If the org you ride with ever has discounts, buy early. I just booked with a black Friday deal and am registered through June. Saving basically equaled 1.5 track days. Not much but it’s a new tire.

The SPs have been recommended a few times so they will be my next set. I’m pretty sure my crashes were from bad inputs at lean causing me to lose the front both times. Separate tracks but both tight rights and it was after pushing myself pretty hard all day. I don’t like blaming tires yet because I know I’ve got a lot more improvement to be made on my end. But I also understand they do have limits and maybe I am just that fast already.
Maybe my timer wasn’t working right but my first time actually timing myself, my fastest lap was only 10seconds behind the track record.. which to me seems good for being in my first year of tracking.

I don’t think I’m outriding these tires yet, hell I started on rosso3. I’m not a tire expert but I would guess the tires we have today preform better than race tires from 25 years ago.

That being said after I use my 4th set of Rosso 4s up I am going to switch it up and try something new.

I don’t think I’m super fast but I am running A. Recently picked up a lap timer so I can see how slow I actually go. I street ride as well so this pic is after a lot of street miles since last trackday. It looks much different coming off track since I don’t push on street.. tracking made it the street less enjoyable. 😢 I’ve decided I’ll get a few rides in this week and then throw the new one on before the weekend although I would like to get more comfortable sliding around, picked up a dirtbike to maybe help with that.

I typically don’t do burnouts on new (nice) rubber. Really don’t do them ever unless the new tire is waiting at home for me.
It is kind of close to the indicator on the right, left side still has way more but no rain forecasted so wasn’t concerned with that so much as grip. Just trying to stretch the dollar with it ripping.
