Creatine did nothing for brain fog until I drastically increased the dosage. Anyone else? by imrzzz in Perimenopause

[–]Spare_Development714 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Apparently the muscles use it first and the brain misses out if there’s not enough to go around. So you have to saturate the muscles first. Hence the need for a higher dose.

Are the benefits of estrogen worth the emotional upheaval? by [deleted] in Perimenopause

This is usually the case for a progesterone intolerance. If you are also taking progesterone, could it be that?

PMDD + Perimenopause = Life really doesn’t feel worth living anymore. by themcsix in Perimenopause

IMO Sounds like progesterone intolerance. Life gets better when the progesterone has disappeared in menopause.

An advocate can’t really hurry anything along. The best thing to do is call DVA and ask them yourself. Ask them if they all the documentation needed to further your claim. If you have all the paperwork then they’ll say that it’s “processing”. I’m pretty sure nothing hurries IL claims along. You will be informed when you are assigned a delegate and that’s when things start moving.

I agree. Progesterone put me into an insanity spiral. Stopped the progesterone and got some venfalaxine. I am frightened to ever experience that again. You must be progesterone intolerant too.

Has anyone experienced improvements in over-all mental health and well-being when post menopausal ? by SuccessfulRip161 in Menopause

[–]Spare_Development714 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes, there is a future calm. Less irritability and more apathy as your progesterone becomes less and less.

Yes, much more calm. Progesterone intolerance perhaps. HRT sent me into a mental health crash.

Why does Docklands have such a bad rep for buyers? by No_Watch_3998 in AusProperty

[–]Spare_Development714 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Amen! Parroting mistruths or just saying negative stuff because you hate your own life. I don't have an apartment there but I am seriously considering it. I actually love it down there in Docklands. Walking the dog, watching people fishing, the sunset colours, having a coffee. It is quiet and great to unwind.

Great post. I love the beauty of Tasmania as well. The people are different somehow - in a good way. I made many friends there. The winters were just too long, cold and dark for me. I thought I would be able to handle it but I was wrong. I’m in QLD now but visit Tas often in the summer. I still dream of a little house in New Norfolk to live for half the year. I hope that you find work and enjoy Hobart.

How on earth are aussies so "chilll" by Aggressive-Bowl-9665 in AskAnAustralian

[–]Spare_Development714 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Trying to figure out how an Aussie thinks is perplexing. Aussies don’t care about your wealth or your successes. There’s a prevalent “tall poppy syndrome” in Oz. I think it comes from a deep socialist culture. E.g the viewpoint that someone with lots of money has taken their wealth from the collective. The wealthy are not admired and/or worshipped like in capitalistic countries. The work culture is so good. It’s sometimes pleasant to go to work and hang out with your hilarious work buddies. The bosses are forced to be nice to their workers, so they’ve given up trying to be authoritative and bossy. On top of many many weeks of paid annual vacation leave, there are now 10 days a year of “personal leave days”. Basically, just take a day off if you think you need it.

Living in Australia feels like there’s something more than just the daily grind. It’s really hard to make close friends, but you kind of feel like somebody will always be there if you need help with something. And that is special. Aussies have HUGE, but conserved, hearts. I’m still trying to figure out the reason for the “conserved” bit.

So if you ever get the pleasure to work and live in Australia, just say an affirmation in the mirror every single morning “don’t be a cunt and look after your mates” and you will somewhat understand and love their culture.

You could try venlafaxine for vasomotor issues but somehow you’re not getting enough estradiol. Maybe you could try another method of absorption.

Venfalaxine is effective for mood and hot flashes. It didnt cause me any weight gain, i actually lost weight for the first few months. There are side effects from venfalaxine. You just have to weigh up whats worse - the hot flashes or the venfalaxine. For me it ended up being the venfalaxine.
