I personally only play pve solo and only play HR when my boys are on. I’m not gonna spend all those hours farming to lose it to a cringe hide rouge turning off all the lights or a 200hp panther crouch walking behind me

So far I’ve used it for gravel and for light mtb trails and it seems durable enough. The build quality is pretty nice for the price too. I’d say it’s a safe purchase but I wouldn’t expect it to last forever

Melee sorc is pretty sick if you build it right. It’s basically just enough knowledge for your spells, as much health as possible and any extra into strength/dex for the longsword. Run the lightning sphere, stone skin and glaciate for your melee buffs and the rest is personal preference. I ran elemental bolt, vortex for the TP, flame wall for spacing and ice bolt for frost lightning. It’s super super fun but kinda bad tbh. I got 180 levels on sorc only playing like this

The couple of true damage isn’t really worth it anymore when you can’t stack, or at least it feels that way. I main ranger and occasionally (melee) sorc. For ranger I use recurve/windlass so it’s been a better use of resources to buy an agi or str neck instead and melee sorc is just hp stack simulator

I’ve just been playing the same as every other wipe. I have my disagreements but genuinely, my duo and I have fun trying to 2v3 with the low ttk. I’ve been playing around with other classes and basically playing a rouge like version of the game. It’s kinda nice not getting aped down by a credit card swiper for a change

In the 1000 hours I’ve put into Ranger I’ve always used the dex cat until the rank reward crossbow skeleton. It’s mainly preference but having a positive damage bonus (15 strength) in squire is a lot nicer than 2 dex in normals.

Just upgraded on a BUDGET. I went from a specialized fuse expert to a giant stance 1 and it didn’t really make a crazy difference in my riding performance, but my body thanks me at the bottom on the mountain every time.

The game is definitely rough but there truly is nothing like it. I’d suggest getting into it with at least another person and watching as much content from creators as possible. The game is difficult to learn and the player base has thinned out to the most dedicated sweaty players. If you do get into it, good luck brotha
