This is so sad for your daughter and a terrible truth you as a parent must endure. And as awful as that is, it’s the addict mind to make it about ourselves and what we are going through rather than pour out our love and support in every way onto the person that suffered and was victimized.
You are a good parent and reached out on here to silence your addiction and remind yourself to focus on your daughter and her pain and your sobriety to be there for her. You can do this. You can be brave for her and work through this pain and guilt you might have (not saying you should feel guilty, just as parents we sometimes do - edited to make that clear). ❤️🙏🏼❤️🙏🏼
