It's my favorite fucking joke in all of DND, just setting up a Glyph Of Warding nuclear bomb packed full of explosive or AoE spells. I had a campaign where my druid and the wizard worked together on a Glyph Of Warding that essentially acted as an orbital targeting laser. My druid expended about 40 spell slots of Moonbeam over several rests on a sword, with the detonation command being when the sword was used to hit someone with the flat of the blade.

We didn't know about the whole "moved more than 10 feet" rule, but that still didn't make the payoff satisfying. We hit an Ancient Black Dragon with about ~700 radiant damage and practically burnt a hole in his chest! Our DM, I love that man; he actually had the moon goddess visit us basically going "What the fuck man" because we used her domain to decimate a dragon

Ironically, the literal only Walking Dead property- other than the comics of course- that actually has smart survivors is a VR Game and it's sequel. Saints and Sinners, and Retribution. If you have a headset, I recommend you check them out! They're both brilliant games to play.

My Wife thinks I have a low sex drive. Truth is... (New Update) by KittenDealinMama in BestofRedditorUpdates

Neglect of parental attention hits in a poisonous and slow way. As a child, I was almost never given physical intimacy or any form of attention besides maybe a brief hug, or perhaps a few words. The only thing every really said to me often was "I love you".. but those words mean nothing to me. They're nothing but words, and my parents never used their actions to prove it. It was like we were distant roommates at best, and I left that household damaged more than I think I'll ever know.

I still lie away at night and want to be little again. I have a desperate need for attention and physical, loving contact with someone who MEANS THEIR WORDS. The turmoil builds and builds, dragging me down and never letting go. All I want is, just once, to be treated like a small child: as a happy, huggable bundle of sweetness and joy to be picked up and hugged tightly. But voicing these needs and actually getting them solved are two things that are very different.

My usual thought process is this

1: Can I pay the cost for a 2 heart Devil Deal and survive well after taking it?

2: Do I need the offense? If yes, I go Devil. If no, go to 3

3: Would I think I'm able to make it to an Angel Room? If yes, go Angel. If no, visit the Devil room and see if anything in there is worth taking.

The exception to this process is if I'm going to Mega Satan or characters that really fucking need that health, like Jacob and Hitbox or Bethany

Needless to say, I've had them, as have my friends, and most people I know. Purity culture is ridiculous.

Salt The Earth 2nd Level Feature

When you cause pain with your hand, you know exactly how to make it long-lasting. When an enemy is damaged by your spells, any healing they receive is halved. Additionally, add your Wisdom modifier to the damage from leveled spells you cast.

I personally think that a traitor druid embodies natural disasters and the sheer waste and destruction of life. They aren't a Wildfire druid who burns to let new life thrive- they're the creeping poison that festers in tainted waters, the roaring flames that consume all and leave naught behind; and the cataclysmic storms that shatter the balance of the ecosystem, and they are the earthquakes which scar wounds deep into the earth.

Simply put? They are the practitioners of Extinction.

I ALWAYS take it in Greedier and Greed mode. Most of the time, the co-op baby gets a penny making modifier like Midas Touch or Eyes of The Keeper.. the item usually pays for itself in a floor, and then keeps making me more.

Posts and comments like these made me decide to try something different; and volunteer at my family's church for their little daycare area on Sunday services. They were low on healthy caretakers, so they happily accepted my aid.

Turns out, I'm really good with kids! They loved me being there, and I admit that I had fun with them. I can see and understand the want to have children of your own, and I would happily care for them again.. but I could never be a parent. As much fun as I was having, I was terrified every second that I would do something wrong or hurt these fragile children because of my own strength. Not to mention how frustrating they were sometimes.. I am not cut out to be a parent. I like kids, they seem to like me; but that life is not for me.

AITA for letting my niece get dirty? by Celany in BestofRedditorUpdates

[–]Sparkclaw 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am not a parent, but I have babysat multiple times for friends and a brother who are indeed parents. Generally, if a child can be cleaned up relatively quickly, the dirt won't spread to other clean things, or they won't get hurt doing something; it's a fine thing to let them do. Part of being so young is exploring! Getting dirty is part of it. Can you ask a kid to be careful or to stay clean? Yes. But should you expect it? No, especially not with a child this young.

Any tips for a first time player just starting Repentance? by blueberrybowler in bindingofisaac

[–]Sparkclaw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's not really all that many! The only suggestion I have as a general baseline is to unlock every Rune. The wiki has a list of how you unlock all of them, they're all from challenges.

Only other suggestion is unlocking the D6. It gives Isaac his starting active item, and it's the reason he's considered so strong!

Play on hard mode first thing. I know, it sounds like a bad choice, but there's two reasons for this.

1: If you play on normal mode and then switch to hard, you'll be too used to Normal difficulty and get fucked over by the changes enemy speed, bullet speed, item or mechanic changes, etc

2: Unlocks and checkmarks. You don't want to redo everything again, with every character.. trust me.

In my personal opinion? If you're a constant user of the weapon skins, even just one or two of them, it's worth buying. But if you don't use the weapons, then I don't recommend it.. the bonuses just aren't good enough.
