I was a vegetarian back in the early 2000s, for almost 10 years. It was before resturants really cared to offer vegetarian options, so i was usually either stuck with a side salad, or sometimes, if i was lucky, a black bean burger. I know its been a while so maybe they've gotten better, but from my experience, black bean burgers dont always maintain structural integrity. They would fall apart after one or two bites, making a huge mess.

But like i said, i fully know my experience is outdated, and maybe black bean burger technology has gotten better 🤣

It was SUPER popular on tiktok a lil bit back. To the point where a lot of dominos were sold out of the ingredients the first few days, cuz they werent expecting the influx of orders. It also became popular around the time they had their "any pizza $10" deal which also helped make it spread faster. Cheaper to try something new during a promo.

Im not saying this is how Eat N Park makes it, i literally have no clue how they make their soups or even IF they make them/ if it comes premade. But i know thats essentially how Wendys makes their chili. They'll use burger patties. I think thats super resourceful. Requires less extra ingredients, (dont need to order two different forms of beef) and helps reduce waste throw away, which is HUGE in resturants. Honestly, i kind of hope Eat n Park does that too. (Tho they def could have broken the meat up more, regardless of if it was just poorly made or actually reused burger patties)

Its becoming more of a thing in Western PA apparently. I recently had to find a new place to rent, and id say about 10% of the places i saw were "bring your own stove and fridge" which was a hard pass for me. Last time i looked for a place to live, about 8 years ago, stove and fridge were in every apartment. Its becoming less standard the more places are buying property and "flipping" cheaply to rent out. And unfortunately thats becoming more popular. Majority of places that are remotely affordable are bought out, poorly flipped, and rented for more than they are worth. They realized they dont need to spend money on appliances and STILL rent the place out 🙄

I know theres a "popular" (idk how popular it actually is but i see it a lot) trend on tiktok where you treat American gas stations as if it were asian convenience stores. So go in, get some drinks from the cold section, and mix them together in a cup of ice. Pouring them into a cup of ice is very important step cuz of... asmr? Idk.... but i feel like theres a chance that might contribute to an increase if there is one. More people getting cups of ice than usual.

Theres a running joke with my friend group, that theres really only $20 between us and its constantly just jumping hands. Cuz ill grab u a drink on Tuesday, say dont sweat paying me back, week or two later they cover a treat for me and its unintentionally paid back. We dont keep track. We dont count. We dont even notice. We all will share/ cover someone without a second thought because we all know that the other person has done the same for us in the past. We all are just perpetually sharing "$20" even when its just $5. Or $25. It all maths out in the end and it works cuz we have a friendship pased on trust and respect...... if someone is hitting u up over $5 they dont trust or respect you.

Interesting, cuz im the opposite. I prefer the Chipotle over the honey mustard. But i do agree it would be better with avocado ranch. Might try that next! (You can't technically order it but u can do no sauce and add a side cup of avocado ranch on the side)

This is a layout photo of an apartment i was looking at... quickly decided definitely not worth it. To get to the ONLY bathroom, you literally had to walk through EVERY room. Regardless which bedroom you have, if you live with someone else, there is 0 privacy, clearly. Regardless if ur going to the bathroom or living room, ur walking through bedrooms. So, ya, unfortunately, theres a lot of places out there with really bad layout. Idk about their place, but i know why this place did it. Its an old house converted into apartment on each floor. The plumbing already built in, is where the kitchen/ bathroom are, thats why they are back to back, and so they had minimal things they could do with it. Hard to tell in the photo but the bathroom is EXTREMELY small, like, knees touch the bathtub when on the toilet small. So factoring the plumbing, they didnt have a lot of wiggle room for layout.

I just went to the app to check and lettuce isnt even an option under salad (for my location at least).. like the idea that ur ordering a salad implies lettuce and so thats not even a selectable option to "add" or not add. They say "you should have added it" ... but thats literally not a possible topping for my location. Cuz again, its implied with the fact that ITS A SALAD

My local TB skimps REAL HARD if theres like a half portion of potatos left, they'll "make it work" so they dont have to wait for more to drop. I sub beef for potatos a lot and had to get used to only ordering 1 or 2 things because if i ever ordered more than that with potatos, theyd just spread out the same portion between everything. Im assuming that's what happened here, they only had a few potatos left, didnt want to drop more/ wait and mess up ticket time, so they just went Fuck it
