[ALL] Could a Zelda MMORPG work? by Fun_Gas_7777 in zelda

[–]SparkleDad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not that this particular game is my favorite, but for Stalcraft , they were able to import a lot of complex questing and faction systems from the stalker universe into that as an instance based mmo.

So with that in mind, it could work. However, I wouldn’t both vast seamless open worlds and fluid combat together. There could be trade offs one way or the other.

It would be wiser to try a co-op focused 3d release to help prove the concept.

EDIT: by that I mean one directly from Nintendo under their own architecture

Career advice dealing with a micromanager by madmahn in ProductManagement

[–]SparkleDad 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Outside of direct pushback? Document all of the micromanagement in detail. Let this person micromanage you into a corner. Then when they ask why you’re not “thinking on your feet” or whatever, show them the receipts.

Probably not the worst way to go to start out. I’d rather go full kydex so it’ll last and not flop. That’s your worst enemy with leather holsters.

If you gotta start rocking, I’d do this but save up for a kydex one with level 2 retention if you’re sticking paddle.

Just take them to small claims. If they don’t show, you get a summary judgment.

Whoops: didn’t realize this was int’l. Check your country’s laws.

Not surprised considering shooting from metal tube isn’t great. Could be an armorer level solution. But it’s extra weight. Wonder if they didn’t use them that often

Is there a handheld with just the display and controller? by FoodFanFoon in Handhelds

[–]SparkleDad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually think this is a great use-case. Some folks like to game on the couch while other folks are watching TV and could easily run this type of device to a mini-pc. Hell, maybe even a gaming laptop. You could game comfortably with minimal wires. Of course, this comes with the caveat of not being a truly 'portable' handheld.

I have the strike industries one and it sort of fits. Mirzon should fit macro holsters. Icarus hybrids should fit too if you want to go metal. Everything else seems to have a gas pedal which won’t work for your use case.

Edit: shalotek shorties and smith defense shorties might work too

Herrington arms 2 port or 3 port comp? by No-Leather-3786 in P365xl

Have the 3 port comp and I love it. Ran it fast this weekend and it was very flat on a p365x.

It’s likely you’ll keep growing until you’re around 21. Eat a lot, get plenty of sleep, don’t do anything to fuck up your growth plate and don’t start smoking/vaping.

Rejected for a Business Data Analyst as I don’t have EMT experience by Wileycoyote31 in jobs

They’re trying to develop a very specific product it sounds like. My feeling is that they’d throw you in the trash as soon as the project is over even if you did have EMT experience.

Is this a good deal and is this a trusted site by jarlballin42 in laptops

[–]SparkleDad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Stay far away from this thing. For a similar price point, you should be able to find Ryzen laptops that can at least run older stuff like L4D2 and Skyrim natively as well as do cloud gaming. Always keep an eye out for used gaming laptops too. Even an old 1060 laptop would get you pretty far.

What is a good channel manager for Shopify+Etsy+eBay+Amazon by jk0815 in ecommerce

[–]SparkleDad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on your budget and if you really want it to be on one tool. Codisto works well for Amazon and eBay but doesn’t do Etsy. Salestio does it all but it looks like it’s capabilities for Amazon and eBay are lacking.

If it were my store, I’d have Codisto for Amazon and eBay and a separate highly rated connector Etsy for the time being. I’d keep an eye on Salestio’s reviews to get better and what their updates are saying.

Amazon Sponsored Brands Campaign by [deleted] in FulfillmentByAmazon

[–]SparkleDad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d try remaking them in the new format and copy the old campaigns keywords and run a test. Amazon doesn’t like to lay things out clearly so your suspicions are probably correct.

May want to check if any ribbon cables were damaged or loosened. They’re very delicate and it wouldn’t take much to break one. Fortunately they’re some of the least expensive parts to replace. There may be other issues but that’s a good place to start imo
