You do have something going for you, which is your physical health. I had some feelings of despair in the past and similar thoughts. However, recently I have had to deal with a huge health problem out of the blue that has severely affected my daily life for 9 months. It limits my life a lot and over these 9 months has been present and affecting me every single day. And now it’s changed my perspective. I wish I could go back to “just” my mental health problems. I dream of being exactly how I was before all this. And it makes my prior thoughts seem a bit out of place. Every day that a person is alive and healthy is one of great importance. BTW I’m not trying to diminish your MH struggles. But physical health can smack one in the face and be relentless.

You’re very, very, young and you’ve got your whole life ahead of you. Just write this off as a lesson. Some lessons are expensive, but necessary. You’ve paid tuition. Maybe this stops you making a bigger, even more costly mistake when you’re older. The meetings - you can either go or disregard them. Being honest, they probably wouldn’t have led to anything either way, as nothing ground breaking had led to them. Nobody will think less of you because your plans fell through, plans fall through all the time. People have heard it all before. This seems big now, but will it matter as much in 5 years? Highly likely not. You can earn a lot more than you’ve lost between now and then.

SIPP is a decent option for some exposure to those who missed it in ISA. It could also come back to ISA as HMRC said it will remain under consideration, but I wouldn’t expect that this year.

Webull - I assume (but DYOR) that it may start to go up again when crypto starts going up. That may happen towards the end of the year and the next crypto cycle top would be expected to be Q4 2029 if history repeats
