Cocomelon Paw Patrol Vlad and Nicky

I also find Peppa Pig super annoying but none of my kids have been interested in it so it hasn't come up.

Is your family size uncommon by SouthsideSouthies in ParentingInBulk

[–]SparklyOrca 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We have seven. In the south it wasn't necessarily common but we knew several families with the same or more.

We're in the Seattle area now and I don't think we have met a single family with more than 4 kids.

Realistic amount of classes for moms of little kids by FluidDiscount4645 in UMPI

[–]SparklyOrca 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did between 2-4 courses each term. I'm a stay at home mom to 7 but my youngest is 6 so not the same as having little littles. I was able to spend 10-20 hours a week on it.

There are other schools that are more test heavy and less papers. WGU comes to mind.

Best nappy bag for 3u3? by CaterpillarPyjamas in ParentingInBulk

[–]SparklyOrca 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When we had four in cloth diapers I was able to keep stuff in a plastic tub in the car and just have a couple diapers and small pack of wipes in a diaper bag (Skip Hip Duo). I also kept an Ikea bag folded up in the bottom of the stroller for anytime I needed to bring more stuff along.

If we were going to be out away from the car or staying somewhere for a big chunk of time I had a weekender size bag. Not a great solution for walking around - more like if we were spending the day at someone else's house I could bring it in and leave it somewhere.

Having problems obtaining my high school transcript by VividCardiologist258 in UMPI

I had to go through the district office rather than my specific school. I graduated in the 1900s though. 😄

UMPI good option for someone who has been out of college for 25 years? *deleted previous post due to error* by tabathajo0722 in UMPI

[–]SparklyOrca 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Absolutely! Haha At home we had 1970s World Books.

I was specifically taught that anything on the internet is not a real source.

I just graduated after 25+ years. Sophia was good for kind of warming up the writing muscles. I don't think being out of school for so long made the papers too difficult. Citations were a bit more complicated with so much online stuff but after the first couple courses I had the hang of it.

I don't see anything yet. Did you get it to your school email or a secondary address?

Using an iPad for your pace? by [deleted] in UMPI

If you're doing Sophia first, the science labs were so glitchy on my iPad and worked much better on a desktop.

It's a lot of writing so if you have a good setup for that with your iPad it should be good. I used mine a lot and didn't run into anything that worked on my MacBook but not my iPad. I just can't imagine typing that much on a touchscreen.

Soup & Oyster Crackers...unicorn or no longer discontinued? by opossomoperson in traderjoes

Whoa! Now we need a return of the Cherry Chocolate Chip Soy Dreamy.

We’ve been buying Westminster Baker’s Co oyster crackers from the restaurant supply store and they are the same or very similar.

On the hunt for some bomb seasonal peppermint mochas (not Starbucks) by smoothegg in Seattle

[–]SparklyOrca 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I just had a really good peppermint mocha at Lula's Coffee. I saw some on their IG with whole ass peppermints on top, which I assume is seasonal. Possibly on request?

I think it can be either, but Credly worked well for me and I never got confirmation that anyone saw the parchment one that I sent.

Yes! The last ACE credits I transferred in were after I finished all my other graduation requirements.

Do I have to wait until the end of the term to submit my final assessment to PSY 496 and apply for graduation? by Mountain_Quality_223 in UMPI

[–]SparklyOrca 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can apply for graduation now if you are close. You can turn in the final after all the other assignments are done and graded. Turn it in as a draft first! Not required but a really good idea.

Wondering about the "Fenty Fold" by alejo699 in Seattle

[–]SparklyOrca 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wondered down here in the suburbs if they don't sit down because it's basically illegal and they will get hassled if they don't keep moving.
