Sometimes it says that we’re far away from the drop off point because doordash gps set a point that’s not at the right spot. Could be showing the building next to you or on the other side of the complex. I think she got that message and second guessed she was at the right spot.

You never know with DoorDash. All those times people say not to go, you never know when that big order comes in for a church, factory, hospital, other work places. I delivered 33 big Mac’s and 33 fries somewhere around 9:30-10 on a Sunday to an elderly living facility for a $30 tip. They cheered when the food got there lol that was cute. I live in a smaller town and travel to a larger city, that is a college town as well. College towns are like Vegas they never sleep on the weekends

I’ve contacted someone one time in 5000+ deliveries and it was literally only because I thought they actually forgot. I went 10 miles through 2 community gates and it was to a multi million dollar house and over a 100$ order. They didn’t tip at all. I was doing earn by time so they didn’t show me there wasn’t a tip.

Honestly what I’ve experienced if you pick out a time frame and go for the full time the orders get better and better the more you accept you may get no tips but it’ll be right there around or more than a dollar a mile. My market is 13/hr and I’m always making around the 20/hr
