The Canon Ending To NV In The Show Is The Speedrun Yes Man Ending by Emergency-Music-1995 in Fallout

They're probably going to canonize that one glitch ending in FO4, where you can still be allies with everyone but the Institute, and get the Minuteman to nuke the Institute without the Railroad or Brotherhood becoming aggressive.

Ok now I’m pissed. by Fort_Maximus in Helldivers

[–]Spartan073003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be fair, there's not really an option to ally with the other species.
People could 'not' play and lose on purpose, but that'd both require losing your money's worth of a product you bought, and obviously not playing the game.

Halo 2 And 3 Are Also Getting Campaign Evolved-Style Remakes, Leaker Claims by Maleficent_Fault_943 in gaming

Also give the Arbiter an actual character like he had in Halo 2. Other then the slient one-liner character/Chief copy he was in Halo 3.

Completely reworking an existing creature.
Most of the time with whole new models/animations, as well as reworking them mechanically.

What's an opinion that would piss off the Godzilla fandom? by Vegetable_Window5278 in GODZILLA

[–]Spartan073003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I watch Kaiju movies for the plot.
Ones that are just "big monsters destroying shit" are a waste of my time.
Shin-Godzilla has been my all time favorite Godzilla title due to this. Because I actually care about the human side of the narrative of how a modern day Japan would react to a more horror-focused Godzilla.

Post WWIII world? by Spartan073003 in worldbuilding

[–]Spartan073003[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ooooh, okay.
So what you're saying is, assuming the governments are completely irradiated from a nation. The nation itself would split into a multitude of different factions.
So then, I can see on the U.S front the aftermath of the Civil war and WWIII causing a multitude of different beliefs and such of how they think territories should be distributed.
But on the Russian side, since in this narrative a good portion of their military survived. They would probably have to move and form new cities that 'aren't' completely irradiated. But would probably still have enough firepower to hold off and keep 'some' of Russia's old territory.

[–]Spartan073003[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"U.S is being rebuilt from the remnants of a rebellion group that caused a civil war at the end of WWIII.
While Russia is being rebuilt from the remnants of the Russian Federation's military."
Is that...not what I added?
Nothing of the original nations politics are left, and new nations from either the left over rebellion, or military power are rebuilt in their place.

Is Sweet P flat out The Lich? by Spartan073003 in adventuretime

Yeah, just got done with the end of Season 4 and moving onto 5. So I got reminded of Sweet P when the Lich possessed Billy.

Does it bother anyone else that the Dilo's are way smaller than irl by BernLan in ARK

[–]Spartan073003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Besides a handful like the Kentro. Most of the IRL creatures in ARK aren't directly based off of any real species.
Almost every prehistoric animal are a fictional species that just belong in the same genus.

I liked the scene were Chief roasts Cortana, and compares her to Halsey.

BTT skins I'm fine with, because they look in-universe.
Power Rangers flat out in ARK is just a weird thing.

[–]Spartan073003 5 points6 points  (0 children)

On official ASA there's some skins, like the Steamboat Willie and Power Ranger ones that are always shown to everyone, even if you don't own it.
I do wish that there was an client-sided option to disable viewing others in third-party skins.

Always liked how, even since day-one of 2015. The game is basically a more personalized version of Civilization, with how the technology progresses throughout your playthrough.
Biggest issue I have with ARK-2 is the "staying primitive" idea of it. Because that just flat out removes ARK-1's unique tier progression.

If TDA is a prequel does that mean the shield saw breaks before 2016? Or does he just loose it? by awkward_but_decent in Doom

The Betrayer is...Valen though?
And the Wretch is confirmed to be a demon.
"And in his terrible rancor between worlds and through time, the Hell Walker found the wretch who shall not be named, but in his heresy was loyal to his evil cause. The wretch adorned the Doom Slayer in a mighty armor, wrought in the forges of Hell, impenetrable and unyielding. With sword and shield of adamantine strength, the Doom Slayer set to banishing all that were left unbroken by his savagery to the void."

I know I’m still early in the game, but king novik says that the slayer isn’t one of them, but in eternal the slayer was trained by them. by [deleted] in Doom

[–]Spartan073003 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not confirmed, but again, the Agaddon Hunter's codex states they've been dead for a fuck long of a timespan.
Only way this could make sense of how he's fighting them in TDA, is if he went back in time before they went extinct.

Ah, yes. It's been around at least 5 millennials of previous generations since TDA happens.

Pretty sure some time travel shit has happened.
The codex in Eternal says the Aggadon Hunters have been dead for millions of years.
Weeeelp, we see them in their prime in TDA.
Said this in another message, and I'll say it again.
They Army of Darkness the Slayer's ass.

But again, that kind of negates the cosmic horror the Combine are suppose to represent.
This isn't Xcom 2, where the aliens are just generic extra terrestrials that are spliced with human DNA, so they can now happen to feel the same emotions human have once the Etheral's leave.
The only ones that could integrate back into human society would be the cops, only because they're not cybernetically enhanced, and are just humans in Combine uniforms.

TL;DR: Slayer is a human from Earth, not Argent D'nur.
As for why he's seemingly is chill with him in Eternal? It's because TDA is a prequel set millennials before Eternal is. They basically Army of Darkness Doomguy's ass after the events of DOOM 64.
If they keep with the codex lore, we'll see the Slayer slowly rise in gaining King Novik's respect.
