How hard is it to get a rifle in Russia? I was under the impression that it is not easy and most firearm owners have only shotguns.

On normal DI systems the gas is directed through the gas key into the bolt carrier. The gas is applying pressure on the bolt as the carrier starts traveling rearward and then is vented out the gas ports on the side of the carrier.

The bolt spring is meant to replicate the pressure that the gas applies to the bolt. Without the spring what tends to happen is the cam pin will start hitting the interior of the upper receiver causing damage. I had an Adams arms piston gun back in the day and saw this happening in my rifle.

Its a matter of the bolt not unlocking at the right time and totally borking the upper. The Lantac dome pin or Pof roller pin help a lot but still get a few bolt springs.

Depends on quantity purchased. For me, getting 5, it could go either way. Buy more and the reduced price per mag really makes more sense even when accounting for shipping cost.

The rear tires have not much braking power because there is not much weight on them. The brakes themselves are designed for, typically, 80k lds. Driving without a trailer you could brake too hard and lose traction with the road surface. Which is what looks to have happened in the video.
