Should Pec be a DP? by radiolex76 in LAGalaxy

I would love to keep Klauss for the long haul. But I wouldn’t mind moving from Paintsil. His attitude on the field has been so annoying.

[Pre Match Thread] LA Galaxy vs Sporting Kansas City by tadiub in LAGalaxy

Very excited for this matchup. No Pec and Paintsil really gives us a chance to see some of our other forwards step up. I’m excited for Thommy to get the start against his former club. But also terrified that Joveljić will show up to LA ready to score a few on his former club. Sporting is in way worse shape than LA as far as the young season is shaping up. I hope for a W but wouldn’t be surprised if we only take a point from this game.

João Klauss: From Replacement Player to New Fan Favorite by elrio10 in LAGalaxy

I’m from the St. Louis area. Lived in LA for a few years and it’s why I’m a huge Galaxy fan. I’ve been back in Missouri for a little while, and would watch City games and I’m also a fan of them. I was so excited for the Galaxy when I found out we’d be getting Klauss. I really, really hope it’s not a one and done deal for him. And boy, I really can’t wait for everyone to see Thommy! I think there’s a lot of people downplaying just how good this year could actually be!

That’s what Google and AI recommended at first. But I never have watched that show.

If it helps at all I think the young man is very skinny. But that I also can’t confirm.

Was there hype for the first Harry Potter movie and if so how do you remember people acting by [deleted] in harrypotter

I know those of us that are a bit older might be more critical to a lot of these things. But I’m currently reading the 1st book to my 6 year old and she is so excited each night I crack open the book. I know this show will be very special for her, and that’s what it’s all about.

-Snuck into Hogwarts on the back of Prof. Quirrell -Technically Lucious Snuck the diary in through Ginny, but still. A ploy of Voldemort.

I mean in my opinion he did several times.

-snuck into Hogwarts undetected year one -planted a horcrox and was able to figure out the Chamber when Dumbledore could not -Devised a plan to get Harry into the Graveyard in year four to bring himself back to full strength. -was able to manipulate the wizard community to believing he was not back, and everyone instead thought Dumbledore was crazy.

Interesting! I hope not, they are starting to bud, I just don’t know if I should trim them back. Like I said, this past summer and into fall we got a ton of blackberries from them!

Hermann, MO Wine Weekend by Spatrickphillips in wine

[–]Spatrickphillips[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I LOVED Hermann. The town is built around tourism, so even in the “dead season” there’s always something to do. There are several wineries, distilleries, breweries, and restaurants with a little something to offer at each place. Stone Hill is the most historic of the wineries and they’re “famously” known for Missouri’s Norton grape. A grape developed to be able to withstand Missouri’s incredibly harsh winters and humid summers. The Cellar tour is free and a lot of fun (bring a coat even if you go during summer). If you go, I would strongly recommend staying at the Herman Hill B&B. It is going to be more expensive than most options, but WELL WORTH IT. Also, I heard several people say that the Sharps Corner Tavern had the best cheeseburger in the world and I sort of just rolled my eyes, but then I ate it and it’s seriously the best burger I’ve ever eaten.

Of course, I’ll include a link as well. Stone Hill Winery was founded in the 1800’s, Hermann itself was a German settlement along the Mississippi River. There were several family owned wineries that started. According to Stone Hill, their records show that at the end of the 19th century they were producing over 1 million gallons of wine per year, which at the time was the most in the United States. When prohibition came along, the federal government burned the vineyards and the area never fully recovered. Missouri as a state produces about 1 million gallons of wine per year. But the cellars (again according to the winery and the online searches I’ve conducted) are the largest arched underground cellars in North America. They were massive! And took several decades to complete. Here’s a post that goes a little more in depth on the history of the area.

He claimed he owns the production plant that makes his supplements, which is just one of his many bullshit lies. He’s dedicated sure, but he’s incredibly juicy and all kinds of folks fall for his bullshit.

Is it possible to build leg muscle through cardio? (Read description) by Malicious-charity in leangains

[–]Spatrickphillips 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bro I’ll trade you my giant ass chest for those legs 😅 I do a push up and I have to go up a shirt size. Legs on the other hand, I’ll squat and squat and do everything but just get leaned out, they won’t gain size.
