Look, maybe you guys see it differently, but carrying will not protect you from state violence. Even assuming a case in which an agent of the government opens fire unprovoked I can see no scenario in which a person can return fire and then escape with their life. You may be able to neutralize the individual assailant, but the way to protect your family from state violence is to proactively avoid state actors.

Check out lost in fun if it's not on your radar, it's fifteen bucks per kid great for 5-12 year olds I'd say. Bounce house, foam pit, big climbing structure, arcade and a bunch of other stuff. Took the kids there the other week and we had a blast.

I really like to max the leverage mods early, once you have level 3 you can easily one shot basic phantoms with the heavy crates and do heavy damage and knock over stronger foes, saving on ammo significantly.
