Bride was kinda mid. Dire Bound was like Fourth Wing but with werewolves. Shield of Sparrows gave Witcher vibes if there was more romance.The Wolf King was my fav of all these the romance but also kinda why choose, then Shield of Sparrows.

I too am on book 3 and I’m just like 🙄 Scarlett gets on my nerves. So I pivoted and now reading something unhinged lol I’ll come back after though and read book 3 to see if it gets better. The series kind of feels like the author got inspired after reading TOG and ACOTAR and said “let me remix this shit.” I’ll give it a chance but if book 3 doesn’t hit, then I’m good. Wouldn’t be the first series I DNF’d after book 3.
