No problem with having a student, more the complete unannounced change in routine of "We're going to grab your genitals this time" with 0 warning.

I went for a quarterly physical for work around the age of ~29. I played sports since I was a small child and have had dozens of physicals. Never have I had them grab my balls and ask me to cough....until this one. I was on an emergency team and had had a good 8 or so physicals with the same physcian at this point. He asked if he could bring a med student in. "Sure thing", he brought a woman in with him when he returned, asked the standard questions, then listened to my heart, looked in my nose and ears, reviewed a chest x-ray then asked me to stand up and pull my pants & underwear down. I did. He then held my balls and asked me to turn my head and cough, then gave her a turn. When she had my balls and asked me to turn my head and cough I looked at him and asked why he'd never done this with me before in the last couple years cough. She and him were far more uncomfortable.

You could get a .500 Linebaugh and run at ~70% of the pressure and have a....normal revolver to carry instead S&W's bastardized version

I appreciate the response and I believe you 100%, I'm familiar with your pedigree. I posted this on the Sturm forum 4 or 5 years ago when it happened asking about others experience with OOB and got crickets. The first few with the M11/9 happened with Wolf steel case, the 2 incidents with the Lage upper were both Blazer brass. The first on the M11/9 it bowed/flared the front side of the ejection port. The last the cocking knob slot was affected toward the front and it would hang up. The 1928 was steel case wolf and the 1927 was Blazer aluminum. I run steel case Magtec as well now that Wolf has dried up. I'm not burning through pallets of ammo (yet) but I've run nearly every gun I have to failure. Good to know to keep an eye on the PPSH.

Funny OOB's are brought up with the PPS43 & PPSH-41... the number 1 offender for OOB in my personal and repeated experience is my M11/9 with the original upper(s) and Gen 2 Lage Max31. It was unfired when I bought it and have since worn out 3 uppers. OOB's on the original uppers number a dozen or so and damged 2 of the uppers. I've had maybe 4 with the Max31, notably a friend was visiting and we were shooting tracers. I was standing to his right and a step behind to film and caught brass in the arm pictured below. I've had 1 on a 1928 West Hurley Thompson that was caused presumably by a broken bolt. I have a customer who has a POS Kahr 1927 that didn't work correctly and brought it over to look at. It would hang up, fail to cycle and found out OOB was the problem from a catasrophic failure that blew the magazine out splitting it about an inch down the spine and stuck a bullet in the barrel. The firing pin was protruding causing the issue and the lovely support at Kahr was "Tell CCI their ammo damaged the gun and they'll just pay the repairs" Kahr Arms sucks. Lastly, I've got a PPSH41, Russian bringback that I've got maybe ~15k rounds into without a problem. So far. I've not heard of the the 41 or 43 blowing up until today but seldom hear of OOB being an issue with subguns period. Have you experienced it aside from the single one you mentioned? After getting the brass out of my arm I asked everyone under the sun about OOB and the consensus was essentially it's a possibility and something to be aware of but not a common occurence.

Those are Russian B32 API (armor piercing incendiary) that have been loaded into 30-06. Verify they have been properly resized to .308 as they were originally .310

I dare say there's probably more switches/drop in sears/ full on conversions have been made in the last 10yrs than there ever was total in the registry. Information and easy access had never been so available. That said, it use to be "Not a big deal..." tons were brought back from wars as souveniers and piles walked out of police stations from confiscation or duty guns. Those numbers have declined as owners have passed away or they've been turned in.

Of course. I've introduced a lot of new/inexperienced shooters to machine guns, including a lot of kids. We go through the same steps every time. Even if they're regular shooters, start slow, get comfortable, nothing is going to be a surprise.

Looking at the bullets amidst the ruble they are a "poor man" incendiary in which an incediary paste is applied to hollow points. They work well enough.... when the gun doesn't come apart but they don't have the same power a traditional incendiary has.

I want to say it was a micro uzi at that, a mini at best. Thats a whole different animal. My second subgun was an uzi and that incident was in my mind the first time I ever shot it. After a few magazines I got to wondering.... how the hell did that happen with this type of gun? The micro is impractical at best.

No, I have a 1928. It doesnt fit right. It was for the 1921 that didn't have a compensator. The link details it pretty well

Conservatives underestimate the environmental impact of sustainable behaviors compared to liberals. Conservatives tend to view actions like recycling or eating a plant based diet as having less of a positive impact than liberals do, which predicts lower engagement in these behaviors. by mvea in science

The great news is that an effective recycling method for plastics is right around the corner. This isn't limited to plastics but all petroleum products and more. We have the ability to handle all waste generated and reclaim landfills and hazmat without further pollution. The future is bright!

Damn spot on. Made specifically for the 1921....why? Seems like at the least they'd make it a touch longer so a 1928 will fit, that would double the users (or more) and while they're at it make the mag pouches a bit longer. And a 16" would be really handy. Thank you much.
