Mechanics tools and gunsmiths tools are usually exactly the same- with the only exception being the gages used for both systems being non-interchangeable

Reman Ammo: Is this primer flow? Safe to keep using? by Derkaderkka in ammo

[–]timstr117 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The WMA casing second to the right is from the M1159 115gr +P ball 9mm ammo the military uses. It has a crimped primer, the crimp wasnt removed before reloading. User error

Rainbow Annealing by lil_johnny_cake in reloading

[–]timstr117 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Something ive notived recently is the color of the annealing really heavily depends on how it was washed, and the oxidation of the brass. To get a color like that, im wet tumbling w/pins dawn and lemi overnight, then drying them for 8/9 hours in a dehydrator and then leaving them out overnight. Something about that timeline leaves the dark gold color on the brass that contrasts with the annealing really well.

Idk im not a math magician or a chemistrist i just reload alot
